So is guest starring in a crime procedural what you have to do before you can make it as a big TV star? It always amuses me when I'll see an ep of such a show like a few years ago, not knowing who a guest star is at the time, then going back and seeing the same ep after the guest star has their own show. Like this ep of Cold Case on right now, I'd seen the ep before so I'm only half paying attention right now, but then I look over and saw the girl playing the daughter looked familiar, and that's cause its Julie Taylor!

Speaking of, what's with people who pick her over Lyla or Tyra? Not that she isn't cute, but she is kinda young looking compared to the other two, so it does seem kinda pervy picking her over the perky brunette cheerleader with her floppy ponytail or the slutty albiet frickin' huge amazonian blonde. What is up with Tyra anyways, she's taller than all the guys on that show, and they're supposed to be football players! What is she, like 6'3"?!

But I digress. It seems like if you do a crime procedural, Cold Case and Without a Trace are your best bets. The CSIs, they're busy showing fancy forensic techniques, and the Law & Orders have to split their time between the Law and the Order. Well, they have to have all the "courtroom drama" with the judges being all "I'm going to allow it!" and "You opened the door, counselor!" But Cold Case and Without a Trace, there's more for the guest stars to do since they don't do the courtroom or forensic stuff. Its all, they interview person A, which cuts to a flashback and also leads them to a clue or person B. But then the clue or person B clue the detectives in that something isn't right, so they have to interview person A again and lambast them for leaving some important detail out and then back to person B, or a person C. So basically, since those shows are all flashbacks and interviews, you get more to do.

Almost done with Dexter season 2. Is it me, or is Dexter's "work" outfit quite stylish? I mean, its simple, dark long sleeved shirt over dark khaki cargo pants, but still looks quite snazzy! And also very effective. Because everyone knows if you skulk around at night, you don't dress in all black! That's the surest way to have someone suspicious about you! No, the smart thing to do is wear normal clothes in neutral to dark colors. You're still hard to see, but no one is gonna immediately think you're up to no good. Just don't walk out in the middle of the street or you might accidentally get hit by a car!

But jeez, that Lila chick is frickin' crazy! What is with chyx like that anyways? They try to suck you back in with some drama going on with them. I remember my ill-conceived dalliance (if you could even call it that) with what's her face. When things started heading south, I coulda handled it better. Not wanting to bring my college roommates into my web of lies, I pathetically would hide whenever the phone rang until someone answered it, so if it was her and they couldn't find me, they could be all, "I don't know where he is" and it wouldn't be a lie! Although truthfully, I was always hesitant to answer the phone anyways, since 15 had a gf, but there was also this other girl hanging around all the time, and I didn't want to deal with whenever one girl called when the other was around. Its like, am I supposed to keep it on the down low that the caller is a woman, or that he was in his room with another chick?

When I finally bit the bullet and dumped her, the next day she was all, "Oh, I got into this horrible car accident but you prolly don't care!" I know that sounds incredibly callous of me, but I knew she was making that crap up. But she came up with this fantastical account of the accident which sounded like it would be very bad, yet she somehow miraculously made it through unscathed?! Heh, and then M was being nice to her, which made her all, "Oh wait, no, it was really you I was into all along" with him. Luckily, he soon figured out she was frickin' crazy also.

Ooh, my sources tell me there'll be a third season of Friday Night Lights. Was this last ep the equivalent of the second season finale? Like, we won't find out anything until this supposed third season? Or are there a couple of eps left this season?
