Apr. 12th, 2007 08:47 pmYou know, despite my retarded sig of "You ever heard of Slaughterhouse Five? That was me and four other guys." (Its my take on the Dude's "Seattle Seven" line from The Big Lebowski) I actually know nothing about the book. Actually, I don't know anything about Kurt Vonnegut other than he wrote that book and people thought that Sunscreen speech was given by him.
Anyways, had dinner with the roomie at Frontera. Which was chock full of drunk women. Our theory was since it was cheap margarita night, and margaritas are more of a chick drink, that was why there was a disproportionate number of women there. Anyhoo, awesome, the live musical entertainment did the Goo Goo Dolls' "Slide" and Oasis' "Wonderwall". The latter always reminds me of Seth and Summer at the end of The Heartbreak, where Seth plays the Ryan Adams' cover of the song in his room to "sweep Summer off her feet". (And the sad thing was he kinda was!) I'm not sure if that or "Hello Sunshine" is the quintessential Sethummer song. (Are these last few sentences the most queer thing I've ever said?)
But I digress, I had to stop myself from singing along. Had I been partaking of cheap margs, I prolly would have. Luckily, I don't drink anymore (You know I don't like to drink intoxicants, I want to experience life in all its agonizing glory). Besides an urge to sing aloud in public, other non health reasons why I shouldn't drink: 1) I make mormon girls cry, 2) I climb and surf various pieces of furniture, and 3) I try to pick fights with racist rednecks who are all pissed because I can kick their ass in tekken even while plastered (I have some asian video gaming skills). Well, I'll shout if they want to be starting something in the parking lot like long after they've gone.

As I've said before, I've only recently started watching 30 Rock, but I'll admit, its actually pretty funny. And Rip Torn is guesting tonight. I always confuse him with Rip Taylor. And is it me, or does tonight's ep have an Arrested Development feel to it?
