I find the strangest files on my various accounts sometimes, like this old gtg post, which I have no idear why I saved:

Does it really count if the show being spinned-off was some one-shot character? Though I guess Mork and Mindy was like that. But that was kinda original, at least that's an alien and not some made up friend we never heard of until that ep, as was done in Top of the Heap and Young Americans. I would think usually its an established character who's been there for several eps getting "spun-off". Like Frasier from Cheers, Harriette from Perfect Strangers, Maude and George Jefferson from All in the Family, etc.

And how about spin-offs of spin-offs, do those count as spin-offs of the original? Good Times was a spin-off of Maude, and thus a spin-off of All in the Family? And I still insist E/R (not ER!) would then be a spin-off of the Jeffersons and thus All in the Family. I mean, they had the character, its just the reverse of what I said in the first paragraph, instead of featuring a one-shot throwaway character showing up on an established show, you have an established character show up on a new show's first ep. Then again, other than it being the first ep, how is that any different from those must see TV NY crossovers, or Norm and Cliff flying to Nantucket on Sandpiper air for a fishing trip, or Urkel having a malfunction with his jet pack he built and crashing through the roof of Lamberts' house or giving Stephanie Tanner advice on her new glasses when visiting his cousin in Frisco. But who would really beat up Stephanie Tanner? stv('How Rude!') She's such a nice girl. Now Michelle, I can understand. What a little brat! And so ostentatious!

Awesome, since its been a slow night, I've been thinking up old videos I hadn't seen in a long time and looking them up on youtube.

Well, I had only seen Bad Ronald's Let's Begin once ever:

I still think this video is pretty effed up! It takes the whole lolita thing a little too far.

And the Lordz of Brooklyn's Saturday Night Fever:

I had never actually seen the video all the way through, I had only seen the clips off Beavis and Butthead.
