Just sitting here at work. I don't normally work today, but one of the other guys had something to do today so I switched with him for this week. Apparently the cooling system is acting all wonky. But as long as it doesn't break, I'm groovy. And apparently there was a bunch of peeps wandering around here last night taking pics for some scavenger hunt. Some of them even tried to get in. Its a good thing for them T doesn't work here anymore. He woulda tanned their hides if he was the one who caught them.

Almost at the end of XML. Well, I actually have a few levels to go, but I've got the best equipment. The characters aren't maxed yet, but the stupid discs for Psylocke's key item and the level with the crazy "mask of xorn" item and that gives 50 million XP per play are on Asteroid M. I guess I can save up a bunch of money, then try my luck with the healer's grab bag and hope I get those discs early and if not reload. I also noticed a weird bug in the game. Since the boss characters work just like the player characters (which is why you can play them in vs mode) they have corresponding attacks (i.e. 1-3 normal mutant abilities and an extreme ability). But the bug I noticed is that when the bosses do their extreme attacks, it actually takes off of your meter! I think I first noticed it fighting dark avalanche. He did his quake attack and was all fdv('Two can play it this game!') and noticed only 4 of my 5 extreme icons were filled. I found it a little strange, but thought nothing of it, figured I must've used someone's extreme attack earlier to see what it looked like and haven't refilled the thing yet. But then he did it again and saw it take away from my meter. I thought, okay, interesting bug, so next boss I fight, I'll just hit him with my extreme attacks off the bat so he can't do them on me. But it turns out, it doesn't affect him at all- if you have any icons filled, when he does his attack, he takes from your pool first, but can still do them even after your meters are empty. That's a pretty dumb bug. Because not only is he hitting you hard, he's taking away your ability to hit hard back.

I tried checking the game forums to see if this was mentioned, and I forgot the reason I don't read video game forums is because of all the stupid people on there. Is it me, or a lot of those people just dumb assholes? I mean, on the forums for TV shows I watch, no one is that bad. Its like the video game forum people are the worst of the worst. Perhaps its because the average vg forum poster is a teenage (or has the mentality of a teenager) boy with poor social skills. I mean, that know-it-all attitude and thinking they're so damn smart and cool when they're neither. Its the same reason I can only read .flame on and off. I'll read it and the list of people I just want to punch just grows and grows and its not good to be so full of that much rage.
