So, went to dinner last night at Fuddrucker's. Looks like they expanded their menu since last I was there. Had a bacon cheddar salmon burger. Hey, it works! Ah, and the roomie did notice I had karaoke revolutions 1 and 2. He didn't berate me as much as I thought he would, though. I was amused how they actually censor some of the lyrics, like they change the "damns" in Avril Lavigne's "I'm With You" to darns. Of course, I never thought of damn or hell as swear words anyways. Then again, I have such a filthy mouth I hardly notice when I'm using actual swear words either. And then there's Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love to You", where they change the lyric: "Throw you clothes/on the floor/I'm gonna take my clothes off too" to "Throw your rose/on the floor/I'm gonna throw my rose out too". What the hell does that even mean?! Its like the Comedy Central version of The Big Lebowski changing Walter's rant to Larry Sellers when he starts smashing up the 'vette to "This is what happens when you meet a stranger in the Alps." and "This is what happens when you feed a soldier scrambled eggs." WTF?! At least Pulp Fiction's "go home, cool off" made sense.
Anyways, watched more Yukikaze, finished up the second ep on the disc. The story is a little confusing, though it did leave me wanting more. The fighter designs are pretty slick. The Mave is the coolest fighter (though the supersylphs looked pretty cool as well) I've seen in an anime since the Sturmvogel II (from one of the Macrosses). And the dogfighting is pretty awesome. Of course, I can't wait for the next one, since they mention a flying aircraft carrier, and those things always kick ass. I mean, I've only seen a few eps of Last Exile, but the flying battleship/carriers slugging it out was one of the coolest parts of what I did get to watch. Which reminds me, I really do need to get back to TF, Tidal Wave (who himself turns into a giant flying space-carrier) is the next boss. That's one big mother, too.
Damn, I was gonna say something else, but I forgot.
