(no subject)

Its good to be back in the world of full vision. Holy crap, its a huge improvement! I mean, I can easily differentiate between links and normal text on the puter screen! And there's no longer a blind spot for people to disappear into. Obviously surgery seems to have gone fine. Though the second one hurt like hell compared to the first, which the doctor said was expected. Not to gross anyone out, but when I came to, my eye felt like someone had cut into it. Which someone had, obviously. I hadn't felt such pain since slicing my hand open on my katana. But a few tylenols took care of it right quick. And the pain never come back. The roomie theorizes mebbe the body builds up a slight tolerance to the anasthesia. After all, the doctors said it was pretty common, and I felt way more cogent during/afterwards (yes, I could hear the doctors talking in the distance as they worked on me) than the first time. But it was definitely worth it. Seriously, everything is like crystal clear. Just watching CMT right now (A Dale Earnhart sticker on your car is a sign you're a redneck?). Before that, was watching some DVDs sis lent me. I had asked turdburgler for Gunparade March, but she also threw in Blue Submarine No. 6 for good measure. Watched the latter fast since that was only 4 eps. Looked pretty cool, if slightly short. And is Shania really considered country? Owel, although I can read the screen fine, book reading seems to be taking a little more effort, so I think I'm gonna have to hold off on finishing OotP until tomorrow. Which sucks, since like I said in my last post, I'm in the middle of the climax. I'm tempted to try reading it now, but I don't think I could manage more than a chapter, so best not to strain them.

Owel, I should prolly cut this short as well, give my eyes a little rest. Might rest them for a bit, then try and catch an ep of Gunparade March or two a little bit later.
