Damn, its cold in here. Owel, we're running on a skeleton crew with people out sick (and rightfully so, don't infect me!) and on vacation, like [livejournal.com profile] clevemire, who flew over to Vegas with the roomie and [livejournal.com profile] phatjoe and the usual suspects. Alas, if only I had the bank roll. After all, I don't really gamble, so unlike them, there isn't the possibility of getting money back from the activities I would have engaged in. I told them to take my sidekick camera (which has been sitting around uselessly since I ordered it and got it before the sidekick, which I had to end up cancelling the order for. I should sell it to one of these sidekick-having folks around here) and take pics of anything cool (and any famous hot chyx) they see. I don't know if they borrowed it though.

Anyways, getting back to work, things are going cool for now. They hit a few glitches with the work they were doing this morning, so there might be sporadic problems. And there have only been a couple so far. But two cuties have already come around ringing the bell, so so far its been a good day.

Anyhoo, celebrity poker with Lauren Graham last night was pretty cool. I'll comment behind a cut so the GMA doesn't kill me if he happens to read this before actually watching it. )

I prolly complained about this in another post, but damn that Notebook for getting Nina Gordon's "Tonight and The Rest of My Life" stuck back in my head. I mean, it got stuck in my head years ago when they used it in the trailer for Captain Corelli's mandolin, but it was out and gone and now its back again. Not that the song doesn't kick ass! Actually, the song stuck in my head has been alternating between that and Sara Evans' "Suds in the Bucket". How can 18 years just up and walk away?
