May. 21st, 2004 08:28 amWent to Famous Dave's last night for dinner. Got the Dave's Favorite burger, but soon realized my folly. Not that its bad, just that the whole point to the place is the different sauces. And it had its own sauce, according to the menu. But then I saw it was baked in, so I could at least try one of the other sauces, opting for the Georgia Mustard. It was okay, albiet slightly overcooked, I realized they never asked me how I wanted my burger.
Anyways, was talking to various peeps yesterday about the internet, asking them when they noticed it was like the way it was now. I mean, the difference in what was available between my freshman and sophmore years of college was quite noticable. I remember what a chore it was to register for classes the first year, but the next year it was so simplified. And I remember the first thing I ever searched for online here on campus, mortal kombat 3 movelists. I was all, wow, this stuff is readily available, and I didn't even have to search through like old forum posts! Anyways, its a remarkable age we live in, where knowledge is a click away. I used to have to wait to go to the library or the bookstore at the mall to figure out things.
