Last night, went to El Potro with the roomie, psyched_out and the little lady. Met up with Bob there, had Margs, and JP and his gf (who I think kinda looked like she could be his sister!) showed up also. It was fun times. Bob regaled us with his wacky misadventures since last we saw him (Scott's b-day?). Alas, they did not win the Red Bull Flutag (or however the hell you spell it) in Miami. But from what I heard, they should have. It sounds like they did this crazy Miami Vice skit (and with Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight" playing in the background, kick ass!) Alas, their plane broke and they got like 0 distance. Bob tells me the judges told them if they had actually got any distance, they woulda gotten it. He also told of his time in San Antonio for the final Four. Like how he and his friends had fortuitously won free tickets due to drunken antics, so he was able to sell his actual tickets and see both Tech games for free.

Then we went to see his house. Pretty nice place. Spent the rest of the night reminiscing about the good old days. School was indeed an awesome time. Well, except for the actual work and stuff. But the rest of it was good times. Though at times I think I remember too much. I'll be talking to them and asking "Remember X?" Or "Remember the time X happened?" and tell them some story about themselves that they don't even remember! I just have a weird memory for that kinda stuff.

Got back pretty late. Watched my tape of the penultimate Friends ep, which seemed to end abruptly. I mean, there were cliffhangers (is it still a cliffhanger if its not the end of the season?) like Ross and Rachel kissing and that Anna chick going into labor. For some reason, it just didn't seem urgent enough. Or maybe because those same storylines have been done multiple times (and on this show already too!) And what, they couldn't pay Paul Rudd anymore this season, so when people ask Phoebe he just always "at a gig"?

Didn't have time to watch the Tru Calling season finale (or is it series finale? Did that show get cancelled?) Smart of them to just make it two hours instead of showing one hour now, leaving it at a cliffhanger, then showing the second hour next week, because would people really warch it instead of the Friend's Finale?!

But hey, I still managed to get to sleep before midnight again! And its also Friday, so day off tomorrow! Of course, its also shift change, and I move to weekend days, so I have to work Sunday, but then I have Monday and Tuesday off! Ah can't wait!

Been going through all my previous journal entries for memory. An arduous task, considering I've had this for almost three years now!

Damn me for being so obscure with some of my entries! I'll be reading these posts where I'm being really vague, and for the life of me I have no idea what I was talking about. Was it something that actually happened to me, or someone I know, or was it something I saw on TV? With me, you can't tell. Owel, if I can't remember, I guess it wasn't really that important anyways. But this trip down memory lane is interesting. I saw this entry from back when I was working over in the CSC. And I'm talking about this really hot intern who came in (though I think I meant Tech Temp) I wonder if that's talking about L? She started out as a Tech Temp. And I'll read entries about dreams I've had, though I actually only remember half of those. And its interesting to see how much changes in 3 years. People getting married, people breaking up, switching partners, moving, having kids, etc. And I sure do make a lot of posts about places I've eaten. Also, it can get a little confusing because I'll refer to people by their real name in one post, and the fake name I made up for them so I can talk about them without them knowing I'm talking about them in case they come across my lj in another. And I just saw one post where I mix real and fake names. And its particularly confusing in that post because its also referencing people I knew back in hs. So I'm like going all which Julie? which Rob? And is that their actual name, or the name I made up for them?
