Nov. 23rd, 2003 03:13 amI heard the alarm going off as I got back from the bathroom. I immediately ran back to the room, checked the location of the alarm and ran to investigate. When I got to the stairs, I began stealthily creeping up them to get the jump on the intruder. I had a funny feeling about this one and thought to myself, "This might be it, the one I don't come back from!" I was soon joined by some cops who the alarm had called to the scene, a K-9 cop with a german shepherd and two other patrolmen. I showed them which door the alarm was coming from, then I unlocked the door and swiped my security card to let us in. The three cops, the dog, and I slowly walked down the dark hallway and then.... nothing! Absolutely nothing. Its not like anything exciting would have actually happened!
Almost all the way through XL, just Lu Meng's, Huang Gai's, Zhang Jiao's, and the edit big sword and halberd left. Went to Fuddrucker's for dinner on Fry-day. I said this on gtg, but I haven't dropped it because its so confusing, but who goes out to dinner in their PJs?! So this milf brings her two teenage daughters there. Since I was facing the the drink machine, I noticed them when they got their drinks taking note of their pants. I was like, those look like pajama pants! At first, I thought that was just some new style. But then I saw they were wearing like bunny slippers on their feet. I pointed it out to Krug and was all, WTF?! I mean, if it was 3am and I was at the Waffle house, I could see that happening. But dinner at a family restaurant? Weird! And I think their mom shot me a dirty look because she thought I was some perv staring at her daughters' butts.
Also watched the Two Towers extended edition. Pretty cool. I think there was way more new significant things than in the FoTR. ( Like... )
Coming Attractions just showed the Punisher trailer. I first saw it when I saw Matrix: Revolutions early. Still looks cheesy, not that much improvement over the original Dolph Lundgren version. I can't see how you can really make a good Punisher movie though. The concept has been done a zillion times, so its not like you can really do anything new or innovative. I mean, I don't think he really stands out without Daredevil and Spiderman around to compare him to. There have already been so many movies about some cop and/or soldier whose loved ones are killed and he starts a one man war on crime for revenge. Without guys like Spiderman and Daredevil around fighting crime without resorting to killing, the story doesn't stand out. I mean, one of my favorite parts of the Punisher was his rivalry with Daredevil. I'll prolly still catch it though.
And I've prolly said it before, but is there any better deal than the Arby's 5 for 5? I used to not like Arby's until I finally had one of their samiches with horsey sauce. Of course, I wouldn't have tried horsey sauce if not for the horseradish burger at Max and Erma's. To think I used to not like horseradish sauce. What was I thinking?
