I really need to get my head out of my ass. Things have been so boring and humdrum lately that I end up losing track of time and the days start blending together. I didn't realize it was already the 22nd! I had forgotten to mail something I was supposed to. I just got out of the shower and looked at one of my shelves and realized, "Oh crap, I forgot to mail that!" Dropped it off at the post office on the way to dinner. Went to Jake's and had their old-fashioned thansgiving turkey samich. I couldn't remember if I had eaten at a Jake's before (did I ever go eat there with you, [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out?) It was pretty good. Didn't get any ice cream, because its far too cold for ice cream right now! But getting back to the original subject matter, I can't believe how fast september went. But that's sorta good, Smallville season 1 on DVD and the new TF:MTMTE come out this week and the DC season finale on DVD next week. and hey, Matrix Reloaded comes out on DVD next month, right? I guess I'm one of the people who actually liked it, having seen it three times in the theaters.

Cowboy Bebop just finished on adult swim. I've seen all the eps already, so I don't watch it regularly, but it seems whenever I do, it always ends up being "ballad of fallen angels" or "real folk blues pt 2". Not that I'm complaining, those were really cool eps, its just uncanny. Switched over to the fifth element on hbo, so i'm watching that while freezing my ass off here at work. For some reason, I'm getting a real cold breeze sitting at this station.

oh, saw Underworld on Sunday. It was okay, they had a lot of cool ideas, but didn't put together in a cohesive package. It could have been much better. Then watched the emmy's. I don't know why I bothered. It always goes to Everybody Loves Raymond, The West Wing, and the Sopranos. i joked that they must alternate giving the best lead actress in a drama to Edie Falco and Allison Janney every year, but that actually is the case!

Hmm, Friday the 13th part II is on right now. Okay, maybe I'm just not adventurous, but I just do not see the appeal of visiting some supposed haunted house or campground where a bunch of people got killed or similar place. So, a bunch of people got killed there, what do you hope to see? Its not like the bodies will still be there. Or even worse, the killer! And why would you want to find the killer? It just doesn't seem to be worth the effort or the risk of getting killed by some prehistoric creature or flesh golem or bog hag or serial killer who got supernatural powers upon his death.

And what the?! They'll kill the cripple guy too? That's just mean! Annoying jocko mcletterman, stacy slut, or smokey mcpotts, they're not very nice people anyways, but killing the poor guy in the wheelchair? And the sweet, nice girl next door type who's willing to overlook his disability? She's good people, she shouldn't die a grisly death at the hands of some crazy mangler!
