May. 12th, 2003 08:55 amHad the weirdest dream Saturday night. Anyways, my dream was that I woke up in my room. I could tell something was off (I later realized it was because the furniture was all different) but during the time of the dream, no matter how hard I tried I could not remember how my room was supposed to be. So I went downstairs, and could tell things weren't right. Then I "woke up" again in my room, and the room was slightly different yet again. Anyways, I must've gone through this sequence a dozen times, where it appeared I woke up, but the world wasn't the same as the real one. My room would be slightly different each time, and once I stepped out the door, there were times where my apartment had a totally different layout, other times where the room was in my parent's or
isabel79's or some other person's house. And the reason it felt so strange is because I could hear and feel so clearly. You know, when you're dreaming, there are times when you're in such a vivid scenario that you can't tell you're dreaming, but even then it doesn't feel "real", you know what I mean? Like when people talk to you in your dream, the voice sounds more like its coming from inside your own head and you don't feel like you're actually physically there, because you can't feel the floor under your feet or the wind on your skin. Anyways, in my dream, I could hear and feel normally. I mean, one scenario, I felt like I was being crushed, and it felt so real. My mind was telling me the reason I kept on going throught this repeating scenario was because I was on a spaceship and it had just been into a major accident and I was trapped in some sort of lifepod waiting to be rescued, and so much time had passed that I was having hallucinations, but I was starting to physically feel pain. But then I "woke up" again. I think another explanation in the dream for the scenarios was that I had just woke up from a coma, and I had slight amnesia and I had been in a terrible accident and the repeating scenarios were a normal result. And the last time I "woke up" I even thought to myself, I should talk, and if I hear my voice it'll tell me if I'm awake or not. And I swore I really was awake this time. So I got up, and felt like I was in a total haze, like I had been drugged or something, but I still felt like I was awake now. But I wasn't. I finally woke up for real, soon afterwards. Or have I?
