Mar. 22nd, 2003 04:38 amOwel, its been a pretty hum drum week. Well, in terms of everyday life. Obviously, there are big things happening around the world right now.
So what's happened since last I wrote. Well, last week Krug's peachland friends came over. Went to Dave and Buster's that Saturday, but alas, their Silent Scope 2 machine was gone, so no way to see if I still had all the top scores. They had House of the Dead 3 and Time Crisis 3 there. Pretty cool games. You use shotguns in House of the Dead III and to quote Denzel Washington in Training Day, "I'm surgical with that shit!" Got up to the next to last boss, but my arms got sore. Time Crisis III is pretty cool too, you get to switch between your pistol, a submachine gun, shotgun, and grenade launcher (The gentleman's weapon!) Though I'm the kinda guy who doesn't really switch between weapons. I mean, I'd rather try and take things out with the standard weapon than waste specialized ammo.
Quiet week at work. Tried out Trivia at Burrito Art. But alas, we left early. Krug had ishes with the answers to the Top 10 highest grossing movies in the US of all time. The guy must've been looking at an out of date list! He prolly didn't even use IMDB! Ack, we ended up missing a call from Krug's friend Gary, who had car trouble.
We did see him Thursday night. Sis came over for school help also, so we hit the IHOP and hit media play. Krug picked up Dynasty Warriors 3 Extreme Legends, while I picked up MGS2 Substance and the Evanescence CD. I like that CD a lot. But Substance doesn't do anything with the old MGS2 save. That's dumb! I have to replay the game all over again! I'm quite put out.
