Jan. 7th, 2003 12:49 amBack working the night shift. I dunno, I can handle this better than the day shift. I, of course, choose to sleep immediately after getting home or by 8am, and waking up around 3-4pm. That gives me time to really wake up, and by the time I'm ready, everyone is getting back from work, so I can still hang out and do stuff, heading to work at the same time everyone is ready to sleep, so my social schedule isn't really impacted. I know some people choose to go to sleep in the afternoon and wake up right before work. I like my way better, because when you're tired from a long day of work, and you want to rest, you can just go to sleep. Everyone is heading to work anyway, so its not like you really have anything to keep you up. I know it gets annoying since its hard to run errands at the bank or post office or need car stuff done, but I prefer to stay up "late": or wake up "early" instead of setting my schedule to be awake during those hours. Speaking of which, I have to wake up early again for some FBI interview thing. I had to wake up early today to hit the groceries and exchange the Triple X fullscreen DVD for a widescreen version.
Its been so long since I've worked an evening or night shift, I have to get a system down for the dumps. I like things going smoothly. Things have been running smooth so far, but I've prolly just jinxed it. Oh, and I haven't seen Wild On in a while. New hostess. Todd doesn't think she's so hot. She's kinda cute. What's wrong with jumping out of a plane? Granted, I've never done it, and while I do have a fear of heights, jumping out of a plane doesn't seem so scary. I think getting up in the air is the hard part. Once you're flying though, I don't really see the difference between jumping and landing with the plane. You encounter danger either way!
Oh, and it really is a TV show life. This year is bound to be mas interesante!
