When it rains, it pours!
Nov. 25th, 2002 08:44 pmFathers lock up your daughters and shoot your sons! Yep, I'm back here in New York City. What a comdedy of errors this day has been. First, I was freaked I messed something up (sorry, y'all have to be satisfied with the obtuse version). Then, at Hartsfield, I went through the security checkpoint and it was brought to my attention that I forgot to take my Leatherman pocket tool out of my book bag, causing hilarity to ensue. Well, not really. They just pointed me to the post office so I could mail it back to myself since Bill was long gone after dropping me off. Later, when we board, I ended up being one of the passengers for the random baggage check. I had predicted this was going to happen. Mebbe its just my negative thinking that caused it. Anyways, its annoying for a slightly obsessive compulsive like me who wants everything in its place so having airport screeners move stuff around and not put things back properly really grates on me. There were some cuties on the flight, unfortunately nowhere near me. But anyways, we land 15 minutes early at Laguardia, but apparently some jerk had breached security so we were forced to stay on the plane for an hour while they got that taken care of. I still have no idea what happenned there, but they eventually let us de-plane (what's up with people hating the word "de-plane"?) so I was happy. And hey, they kept us entertained by showing the Bourne Identity, which was a pretty cool movie.
Owel, just had dinner. My brother doesn't come back until Wednesday morning, and it just seems weird that I'm home and he's not.
