(no subject)

VH-1 is showing that 100 greatest love songs with JLH right now. Since David has headphones on right now and there's a lot of ambient machine noise, he prolly can't hear me singing along. (I am so lame.) But really, I always thought a wedding singer would be a cool side job. Or a lounge singer. You know, where you can be all "Storytellers" and be like telling a charming little story to some engrossed audience, and then start belting out some song of relevance.

Getting back to the special, why do they have JLH as host and Issac Hayes as narrator? Its seems excessive. You'd think they'd have just one person who would be both host and narrator.

its f'n freezing.

Holy crap, when they had the rear doors open to bring in the new fridge, I was shocked at how cold it was. Actually its freezing outside. I was going to regale y'all with my story of how my homeroom in high school was always cold and people would be all "Its freezing in here!" and my homeroom teacher would be all "Its well above freezing." But I just checked weather.com and it actually is freezing outside. I hate the cold. Especially back in high school, when I had to trek 10 blocks from home to the subway (and vice versa) and take two trains and a bus. Especially those times when there was three feet of snow and the school had used up all of its snow days. Walking through all that in dress shoes? Not fun. Oh well, just a half hour more here until its time to go home. I'm hungry.
