Aug. 26th, 2002 08:48 amSorry about the lack of postage yesterday, just got sidetracked with various things. Anyways, after work on Saturday, hit Fuddrucker's with Chris and Krug. I had a craving for one of their one pound burgers, which I got with cheese and bacon. And apparently we somehow got free chili-cheese fries.
phatjoe invited us to a party at his place that night, but I was out of it. I fell asleep (actually, more passed out) at 930 on a Saturday night! How boring is that? From what
mike_b says, they had a lot of tasty treats. Its just as well, I had to be in at work at 7 in the morning anyways. And had I gone, I might have done the same thing last time Joe had a party when I was on weekend days. Get plastered and then call in late. And unfortunately, I'm a supervisor now, and David hasn't been on any day shifts since he's been here so I didn't want to leave him alone. Though Joe did say it wasn't as rowdy as that last party. I guess no cops came to break this one up?
Getting back to work, its a good thing I didn't call in sick because we did encounter one or two problems. I'm not going to drone on about them, but it was frustrating. Talked to the parentals, who were already back home from taking Albert to SUNY Buffalo. But Domino is in the dorm next door, so at least he knows someone close by.
Which brings us to today. I wasn't feeling as tired as usual when I woke up this morning. But its still a Monday morning! I think that one guy over there was being sarcastic.
