looser!!

Dammit. Went to Burrito Art for dinner and trivia with Krug, Joseph, the GMA, psyched_out, and Sato. We were doing well too, and were in the lead going into the final question. Which we blew. Sam Houston, not Austin, was the only man to be governor of both Tennessee and Texas. Owel, if we had gone with the consensus on which state was the sugar state (Louisiana!) earlier we might have at least gotten some prize money. We did manage to get the "name this song" music question even though Scott and Sato left early, for it was that "Things that make you go hmmm" song by C&C Music Factory.

Also, we just haven't been able to live down that team name of "last weekend I got drunk and made out with my cousin" from several weeks ago which the trivia guy changed from "made out" to "made it". Originally, he thought it was a true statement and it was Krug, because he was the hick of our bunch. Then he thought it was me because apparently I made a motion similar to raising my hand at the exact moment he asked which one of us was it. Tonight, he was wondering if Sato was the cousin. What, just because we're both asian, he thinks we're cousins? We're not even from the same country! Her heritage is Japanese. My parents are Flips! We don't even look remotely similar! So I of course said no, but he was all, "no need to be embarrassed about it, she's pretty hot."(This was after you left Scott! Are you offended that some dude called your wife hot?) Ha! I'm totally a twinkie. Though I prefer the term banana. I mean, except for actually knowing what bubble tea is, the description is word for word me! Interesting, I guess Joseph and Sato are the only asian peeps that I know personally now with Ben in self-exile.

As always, the quickest way to figure how something works is to just start playing around with it. I'll admit, even though I can be quite spartan when it comes to things like this, the new system is pretty snazzy.
