Labor Day

Well, I volunteered to work on Labor Day. Its no biggie, since everyone else will be asleep and I don't have anything better to do between midnight and six in the morning, so might as well get money out of it.

Anyways, went to Jimmy Lo's and Holli's boyfriend Josh's cook-out. It was on their porch, so it wasn't really affected by the rain. Surprisingly enough, the guy cooking the burgers was a UA from work. It was weird to see him there, but that made him one more person I knew at the party. I didn't know anyone else there besides Scott, Holli, Jimmy and Josh. But I had a good time. The burgers were pretty good, too. I had no idea they had a hot chick roommate either. She was definitely off the hook! Stayed there until 10pm then headed back home and killed time until work.

Oh well, if I didn't say it before, I got stuck alone on night shift again. I wouldn't have minded it much because I can handle it by myself. It just would've been useful. I was so busy working on one problem I almost forgot to do one of the other jobs I was supposed to do. Luckily, I remembered it and did it right quick.

Other than that, its been a pretty humdrum night. Watching Timecop and exchanging e-mails with Sato. She's in Japan right now, and coincidentally, me and her are at work at the same time. So we e-mail each other. That's cool, cause it gives me someone to communicate with in the dead of night. But hey, Bill comes back from vacation this week, so that gives me someone to talk to at work on Thursdays and Fridays. Not that I don't want to talk to James or Mark, just that I know Bill outside of work, so there's more to talk about (particularly since we both watch too much TV). Plus, at least he's around my age.
