TV commentary:
Flash- What could it be? So the latest Wells is apparently tracking the Monitor's movements, and traces him to an underground vault. (Or at least tracks him to having gone to that place at one point.) The ep ends with him trying to break in. Which comics folks say may lead to him accidentally freeing the Anti-Monitor?
Arrow- Interesting, I was wondering how they were going to make them relevant. In the future, a mission against the Deathstrokes goes awry, and Zoe ends up being killed. Then the Monitor pulls Wlliam, Connor, Mia, and possibly JJ to the past, where William and Mia get to see their dad again. Diggle, Wild Dog and Dinah are also there, and man, that's going to get awkward as hell when the kids tell their stories and Rene find's out Digg's son killed his daughter!
Riverdale- Hey, that's wild! So Toni tells Cheryl to bury Jason, but Cheryl ends up gaslighting her by making her think they were haunted by Jason's ghost wanting to be let back in the house. But, turns out they might really be haunted- by the ghost of Jason and Cheryl's triplet, whom Cheryl supposedly consumed in the womb.
Daybreak- Interesting ending. Enough resolution if this ends up being the only season, but a set up for a second one. So the gang defeats Principal Burr, and... Sam takes over. Its not that big of a stretch. First off, the theme has constantly been that no one really knows the true Sam. Don't forget, she was always Burr's right hand in the pre-apocalypse. Gathering info on everyone, sorting them into groups to help him maintain order.
And I'm not saying she's evil or power hungry. But yeah, she definitely has a desire for organization for what she perceives as the greater good. She worked with Barry and Mona Lisa to overthrew Turbo when it was clear he was crazy. And then she tried to get the Daybreakers to help her overthrow Burr when she realized he was even worse than Turbo.
But yeah, after they won, how was that outcome not expected? Josh was a fucking asshole to her, why would she run off with him to live on their own? Which again shows how little he knows about her. And kinda makes him a dick to his other friends too. Angelica and Welsey were right to be worried he would just leave once he found Sam, because he tried to, despite the family they had formed at the mall. And lets not forget, it took a bit of convincing for him to get on board with the rescue.
The people need help and guidance- Turbo and Burr were psychopaths, Josh is flakey. She knows all the groups, everyone likes her, it only makes sense for her to lead.
Other comments- its sad when they finally make Eli a likeable guy by showing his backstory, they kill him. Although I guess Josh left him out there, so some people are hoping he somehow survives.
And what was up with Mavis? If she really was just a mannequin, then who was that Josh talked too?!
