TV commentary:
One thing I forgot to mention about last week's TV- I loved CAOS' "Masquerade" and Doom Patrol's "People Like Us" musical numbers.
I mean, it was kinda random to have Sabrina and the gang perform a Phantom of the Opera number (between that and Umbrella Academy using Lindsey Stirling's POTO violin medley, what's with Netflix and inserting random POTO songs into soundtracks?). But it did look really nice.
This was such an amazing and uplifting scene. Albeit bittersweet at the end when it turns out its just all in his head.
Legends of Tomorrow- Argh again! Seriously, Nate and Hank finally become closer despite all that's happened, so Hank decides to terminate his deal with Neron. And so Neron kills him. Nora tries to save him, but only arrives just in time to look like she did it. So she's forced to escape, which makes her look even more guilty. Hopefully it won't take too long to clear her name.
Like, it didn't take too long for the team to find out Mona is a Kope now. So if we can keep with this, no more than an ep to learn a big secret, I'd appreciate it.
And seriously, the Zari/Nate thing is just so random. Like it feels out of nowhere. I mean, Charlie, Constantine, even Mick, they've had some interactions in the first half that would have any of them make more sense than Nate. Since the Nick Zano had limited screen time earlier in the season because of the issues with his newborn, the two of them just never interacted. And its not like there was stuff from previous seasons, because he was hung up on Amaya.
And its not even the burgeoning romance thing, their interactions in general, its as if we missed a bunch of scenes concerning them. Who knows, maybe this was always the intention for the season, but again got delayed because of the actor having to take a slight sabbatical. And they just decided to go forward even though they no longer had the set up.
