Arrow- Well, what do you know! Turns out Rene isn't pulling a season 1 Malcolm Merlyn. Or at least knowingly- he was going to blow up Star City, but the plan was to come up with a reason to evacuate people beforehand. But he figured out he was lied to, and is helping the new team now.
But interesting, so turns out Mia was trained by Nyssa as she was growing up. And she definitely got to ply those skills this ep. The gang manages to rescue Felicity (who had faked Felicity's death and captured her in order to frame her for the bombing) and stop the plan.
Black Lightning- Wow, color me surprised! Jefferson and Jen manage to capture Tobias. And now he's considered a "metahuman threat", so no normal trial and jail for him and thus no weaseling his way out of this one. He's put in a metahuman jail. But will he be gone for long?
The Markovians grab Dr Jace, which makes Odell quite worried. He has three pod kids left- Wendy, some guy who might have been featured before but I don't recognize and... Khalil! So I guess he's still alive?
But yeah, the Pierce family is all happy at the end, but it doesn't last long. Odell shows up and basically "deputizes" Jefferson and his daughters. He tells them Markovia has the biggest stockpile of Metas, and with all the stuff in Freeland, they're going to see Freeland as a threat. So he warns them that they'll attack sooner or later, so its in their best interest to work with him to protect Freeland.
