TV commentary:
The Gifted- Ha, again with this! Last post I mentioned how the Inner Circle and The Mutant Underground were separately doing their own thing, but to an outside observer, it looks like they could be in cahoots.
This ep, Turner was interrogating John, John tried to tell him about the Inner Circle, and how Lorna and Andy left the Underground and joined them. But then the Underground went to Lorna and Andy for help, I was thinking, wouldn't it be hilarious if Jace saw them working with Blink and Eclipse and thinking John was playing him? And he totally did. Man, was he pissed!
But yeah I feel bad for John, because Turner really took it out on him after that. Wonder if he will ever realize they're separate entities.
ASOUE</>- So I've never read the books, so the plot twists were pretty surprising to me. Kit and Olaf used to date?! Beatrice accidentally killed his dad?!
Apparently there were some deviations from the book, like the Quagmire triplets reuniting and being just fine, and Fiona and Fernald finding their dad, and also being fine. Some people complained, but whatever, I know its a series of unfortunate events, but I'd rather the show end on a happy note instead of them being lost to "The Great Unknown". I guess they also made it clear certain people survived the Hotel Denouement fire as well.
It was also an interesting surprise to see Morena Baccarin as Beatrice.
