TV commentary:
Flash- Hmm, some people who guessed that may be right. Some have suspected Nora was working with Thawne, and they may be right. Like the way she was fascinated with his suit, and is secretly uploading stuff to Gideon and the wave he gives her before she goes does seem mysterious. Then there's the fact at the end she secretly runs off to 2049 where he's imprisoned all angry and wanting to talk.
I think the theory is she was working with Reverse Flash in order to save her dad, but was unaware Eobard murdered her namesake, hence being pissed. Seems like there's a lot of stuff she was unaware of, like Iris killing Savitar
Interesting though, who were all those names he mentioned when Barry and Nora confront him? Like when he eventually figures out its Barry's daughter, he thinks her name is Dawn. But then who were those other people he thought she might be?
Also, I presume doctor lady has a bigger role to play given how they keep having her show up. So her meta hate may go as far back as the Particle Accelerator explosion.
Heh, just like Supergirl and Arrow, they resolve their current arcs in time for the Elseworlds crossover. Supergirl captures Agent Liberty, Diaz was finally caught on Arrow, and now Cicada is effectively neutralized for now.
The Gifted- What a... twist! In more ways than one. Its kinda amazing how everything comes together, like to an outside party, this prolly seems all coordinated. Let's start with the Inner Circle. So they've been keeping Rebecca in a dark chamber to prevent her from escaping, constantly moving her around in it so she can twist her way out. So, its kinda like torture.
Which, Andy feels bad, and I'm sure Reeva is angry over that guy being killed, but she's also smart enough to know the girl is too dangerous. Turns out she was right to worry! Andy breaks her out with the intention of running away together, because he's too blinded by his dick to realize this girl is fucking nuts. Indeed, she immediately tries to kill Reeva, the Cuckoos, and Lorna, so Andy throws her telekinetically... and manages to accidentally kill her. Whoops!
And wow, Lorna is GOOD! Like Andy is all morose, but Lorna is all, "I just found out the plan is to destroy the facility that controls the collars!" and going on about how the torture she suffered at the asylum is what made Rebecca the way she is. Way to friggin channel the huge emotions Andy is feeling in order to get him back on point.
So yeah, with him filled with righteous anger, and Lorna also angry at having to send her baby away, the facility is no match for the two of them. So all the collars are shut off, and there's a riot at every prison and asylum holding mutants in the country.
Meanwhile, the Struckers resolve to stop the doctor lady from creating a way to effectively end all mutants. They're stopped, but the lady accidentally drops her facade of wanting to help people and talking about how mutants are abominations. That's all Noah needs to hear to rip out his implants and use his powers to destroy all the research.
Meanwhile, the Mutant Underground grab a guy who works for Regimen (the people who control the control collars) because the Inner Circle had been monitoring him. Blink isn't pleased with John's attitude, going hard at everything now, no matter the danger to himself or others. So she takes off. And then Fade shows up right as they get the tech to figure out why the Inner Circle was so interested in his company, killing the guy before he reveals the plan.
Only this attracts the Purifers, and John decides to hold them off so Eclipse and Fade can escape. Hey, Marcos, if only someone had the ability to shoot laser beams out of their hands to help John since its taking all his power to hold back that truck. Maybe John would have been able to escape if you hit the driver with your sunbeams!
Alas, he doesn't, and Jace manages to capture John. But like I said, its funny, because these are three separate things, but it sure could look like they're cahooting. I mean, the facility controlling the mutant control collars is destroyed, freeing all the mutants at the exact same time someone destroys all the research of a doctor lady trying to fix the mutant problem, and the dead body of someone from the control collar company where Marcos and John were.
Jace is prolly going to interrogate John about all this, and John will rightly say he doesn't know and Jace will think he's a liar!
