TV commentary:
Gotham- So they're going with that storyline. Looks like next season will be No Man's Land? So Jeremiah still had one bomb left, which he used to blow up the Mayor's office. This proof that he still had bombs gets him a face to face with Bruce (as the city was put under martial law, and even though Gordon thought letting Jeremiah talk to Bruce was a bad idea, the military officer in charge felt they had no choice), which Ra's and the League use to kidnap Bruce and get back the bombs.
Gordon figures out they're going to blow the bridges, and GCPD is busy trying to save everyone trying to leave on said bridges. Leaving it to Babs, Tabs, the girl League, and Penguin to take on Ra's and Jeremiah. The latter escapes, but Barbara and Bruce manage to kill Ra's, but not before he says he's creating a Dark Island to make Bruce rise and become who he's supposed to be. And with that, the bridges are blown.
I mean, the military is still evacuating people by boat, but the government has basically given up on the city for now. And so, the criminals start carving the place up- we see Penguin, Mr Freeze, Firefly, and Scarecrow carving out their own territory already. Barbara goes all manhater and she, Tabitha, and the female League kill the remaining male Leaguers who tried to pledge loyalty to Barbara, and become the Sirens, making a literal "No Man's land".
We also see new villains, like possibly the Man Bat, and some old lady with a mask, with a killer kid with a mask? Not sure who they're supposed to be. Meanwhile, Jim, Bullock, and Fox (along with unnamed other people choosing to help) take residence art GCPD headquarters, with Fox re-appropriating one of the bombs and turning it back to its intended use as an unlimited power supply to help them.
Bruce also stays, but sends Alfred to go with Selina (who suffered a spinal injury from Jeremiah's bullet) to make sure she's safe.
Other stuff- Riddler had briefly captured Gordon for a while, but Lee manages to convince Riddler to free him, saying she no longer feels that way about Gordon. She says she's leaving the city, and asks Ed to join her, but with the bridges being blown, she can't leave. Someone has to protect the people of the Narrows. He's all, she was never going to leave with him anyways, and tries to stab her, but she stabs him first. But she doesn't put him down for the count, and he stabs her too. Next we see of them, they're possibly dead, and Penguin is telling Strange to revive them. So who knows what they'll be like after that.
Oh, Penguin also betrayed Butch and Babs. Turns out he wanted to cure Butch to make him mortal again, just so she could see Penguin kill Butch in front of her in revenge for killing his mom. He keeps her alive, to prolong her suffering, which just seems foolish. He's like, bring it on, and its like dude, she's a bad-ass killer!
Supernatural- Ah, so that's what they meant! They said Jensen would be playing a new character, and it looks like he'll be playing Michael. So yeah, Michael and Lucifer make it back to this side, with Lucifer planning to take Jack and giving Michael the rest.
Lucifer almost gets away with it, but Michael attacks the gang at the bunker, and they pray to Jack to get him to show up, with Lucifer in tow. With the jig up, he manages to steal his son's grace and take down Michael, and then teleport away with Jack, as well as Sam who jumped in on the teleport as he tried to get away.
So, Dean makes a deal with Michael to be his vessel to take down Lucifer. And he does, thanks to Sam tossing him an archangel blade at the last moment. So Lucifer's dead! But Dean is for some reason shocked when Michael double-crosses him and keeps him as his meat suit! And yeah, he has a plan to do things right this time, in this world.
Other stuff, no Ketch, Rowena, or Charlie in this ep, but we hear Ketch is "doing his Ketch things" and Rowena and Charlie are on a roadtrip in the Southwest.
Arrow- Freaking seriously?!! So the team and the FBI (how is the FBI somehow more competent than Argus?) managed to free the city from Diaz's grasp, thanks to Ollie getting close enough for a sniffer Felicity built into his suit to get all the data they need from Diaz's flash drive. Unfortunately, he gets away because Laurel blows him off a roof with her scream, and he somehow survives that and the plunge off the building into the water.
Like, what the eff, he survives and gets away, meaning his lame ass is still out there creeping?
He manages to mortally wound Quentin, and Laurel calls Sara to tell her, and she comes, but never gets to see him before his surgery. And he dies! So yet again, she fails to see her loved ones before they get killed! Like, they really brought Sara back just for this.
Still, it was nice to see the Lance sisters together again.
Anyways, throughout the whole ep, Ollie was making amends with everyone, as they did not know he got the rest of them immunity by taking it all on. Dinah tries to protest double jeopardy, but Watson claims these are federal charges now.
Ugh, I was hoping with the trial going as it did, we wouldn't have to see another damn jail storyline. Like I said, I hated it on Suits, on Criminal Minds, on Flash, I don't want yet another one of these storylines. And again, its even worse because they didn't get Diaz. Freeing the city doesn't count!,/lj-cut>
