Supernatural- Watching on an old re-run of SPN as I type this up. Its an ep with Meg 2.0, so I was looking up Rachel Miner to see what she's been up to. I totally didn't realize Meg was killed off because Rachel Miner had MS. I just thought she was just one of the many chyx killed off on this show to give the boys manpain. But she requested to be killed off since she couldn't carry on the role. And while they could have just had "Meg" get another host body, I guess its better that they didn't recast her.

I wonder why that's why Root eventually ended up being played by Amy Acker? Because the first episode that ever featured Root, we don't actually see her, but Rachel Miner voices her. And it seems random to have her do the voice if she wasn't going to eventually play the role. But I guess since she retired due to MS, they had to recast. Which, to be fair, Amy Acker was awesome in the role.

Runaways- Some answers and loads of drama! So we find out how Alex knew Tina's password, and more stuff surrounding the circumstances of Amy's death. So Amy had hacked her mom's password for the hell of it, but that opened up a whole can of worms. Alex discovered that Tina had installed spyware on Amy's laptop to spy on her, and we see a scene where that tattoo-ed guy working for Tina warns Amy she should come clean to her mom.

Presumably a breach at Wizard had been detected, and he was tasked with dealing with it, and found out it was Amy, hence telling her things would go smoother if Amy admitted what she did to her mom before things get out of hand. But Amy couldn't. Now, Alex presumed she was so scared of what was going to happen that she chose suicide.

Which is why he kept quiet about it. He was ashamed that maybe he could've done more, that Nico would hate him. But she's mad at him now anyways! Anyways, Nico says that story doesn't seem right, because Amy wouldn't have just killed herself over that. Their mom is scary, but not that scary! Well, if it were someone other than her family, maybe. But Tina wouldn't do something so horrible to her own daughter that death would be preferable!

Nico suspects her sister was actually trying to run away- her laptop was wiped, but her phone and purse were never found. Nico searches for and finds it though, and charges the phone. She doesn't see it, but we the audience do- Amy got a text warning her to get out of the house now. And in a flashback, we see she was the one who wiped her own laptop while packing to run away, when a mysterious man in a suit shows up. Presumably its Jonah, because unless its some random other person, he's the choice that makes the most sense.

Anyways, most of the ep is the parents freaking out on what to do about Victor. Victor is apparently essential to their plans. Heh, they purposely don't call Leslie, because she's too close to Jonah. Too bad she overhears Chase talking to Karolina on the phone and susses enough out to head over. She calls Frank, who tries to uses his powers to save Victor after the Yorkes do their best to patch him up.

But it doesn't work, and Victor's heart stops. Which is when Jonah showed up, who says Tina called him. That's funny they were worried about Leslie when its Tina who goes running to tell "Dad". What proceeds is hysterical- Jonah is all, they can save Victor using the same device they use to heal him. Only, that means they need a sacrifice. Jonah says it should be Janet since it was her mistake. But then it basically devolves into the Pride arguing who's the most useless and should be sacrificed.

Eventually, they settle on Janet, especially after Jonah says its her or Chase. Before she steps in though, Robert is all, "Let Janet say goodbye to her son!" and uses that momentary distraction to grab a fistigon and threaten everyone into letting him be the sacrifice. Which, despite his betrayal, Tina still loves him, and uses the Staff of One to destroy one of the boxes. Needless to say, Jonah is not pleased. But apparently the box Victor is in has stabilized him enough until they can figure out how to revive him?

While all this is going on, Karolina runs into her "dad", and thinking Frank has nothing to do with all this, possibly tells him everything. Whoops!

Also, Janet tells Chase Victor is recovering and they hope he'll be up soon. So, when Alex calls the other kids (sans Molly, but with Old Lace in tow!) after recovering the video, Chase says maybe they don't turn in their parents yet, because they could save his Dad. Karolina agrees, thinking they don't know enough to let this go public, her dad might be able to help. So Chase headbutts Alex, and they get into a fight that ends with Chase destroying the laptop.

Which, people may think he's an idiot, because his dad is an abusive asshole. But its one of those things, its still his dad, and relationships like this are complicated!

Anyways, while they may have lost the video (which, stomping a laptop wouldn't necessarily do that!), they have Amy's phone. Plus, the Molly thing.

So Molly is obviously pissed she was sent away, but her relative gives her a letter her parents left for her. Its a key, and a clue in the letter leads her to a train station locker. She sneaks out and finds a VHS tape in the locker. Not that she knows what it is.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. For now, the kids think they just lost their only evidence, until Nico can look at her sister's phone or learn Molly has a tape. But, Karolina, who thinks Frank is still her dad, has no idea how he's gotten in with Jonah, and may have just outed them to her real dad.
