TV commentary:
Supergirl- Some big set up here. So Mon El's back. Its been seven months for Kara, but its been seven years for him. And he's married to Saturn Girl!
Also, Sam confronts her adoptive mom about her powers. Heh, apparently Sam got kicked out for being a teen mother. Anyways, her mom shows her her ship, and in it she finds one of those crystals like Superman has.
And heh, it leads her to the desert where it forms a "Fortress of Sanctuary". Apparently her getting knocked up delayed her getting her powers. But now that she's here at the fortress, the computer tells her she's a worldkiller, and that she will forget her daughter and all her connections to humanity to become Reign.
It is kinda funny, since the next ep is the first of the four part cross-over. So I guess even with these big reveals, the Danvers sisters are peace-ing out for Barry and Iris' wedding?
Walking Dead- You know, it annoys me that there are people out there who are prolly drinking Negan's kool aid. They hear his speechifying all, "Yeah, Rick and his people did start it!" And no, they didn't. They met the Hilltop, heard they were being bullied and having horrors visited upon them, and said, "Hey, we'll help you people out!" Its not like the Saviors were innocent!
I mean, I get Negan having to get brutal to get people in line. But he goes too far. Its one thing to show he's badder than everyone to keep the psychopaths in line. The problem is he's a tyrant subjugating people. The people follow out of fear, as we see, once Negan was missing the whole thing almost fell apart. His way doesn't foster lasting peace, because as we saw people are just ducking their heads, looking for their moment to fight back.
Which is why its unfortunate that some of Rick's people, like Daryl and Morgan and Tara are wanting to go pretty hardcore in this fight, even if innocents will get caught along the way. And if they go that route, they're no better than Negan and his people. (Which, why are all the chyx in his inner circle like Regina, Arat, and Laura very butch?)
Anyways, other stuff, whats the deal with that helicopter? And what the hell does Rick have planned? That's pretty ballsy just walking up to the Junkyard by himself.
