TV commentary:
NCIS:LA- Man, great Densi ep. Some really emotional stuff here. Also really sad at Deeks referencing Sam and Michelle- because that's basically the same situation, two people in dangerous jobs, who got married, had kids. But it didn't end all happily ever after. Michelle died, and Deek says he doesn't know how Sam gets up in the morning, because he couldn't do it if something happened to Kensi.
Of course, the crazy thing is, they're talking about why they're still doing this job, when there's so much risk, but to be fair, the Sam/Michelle thing can't be avoiding by them just retiring. Because Michelle was semi-retired. And she was a victim of a past case! So honestly, its too late, they'll never be safe. They could retire now and live in the burbs, but would still have the danger of some past case coming after them.
Other stuff, they could have had Kensi talk to the sister and try and explain things so it didn't end with the sister being really pissed at her. Like mention how Miller had second thoughts, and his partner drew a gun on him, threatening him to launch and he refused! That way her sister would know he tried to stop this, she could feel that he died a hero.
Heh, to be fair though, Kensi didn't try to save him, but that was the situation they were in. The tunnel was too tight, and the lady had a gun, so she had no choice but to drop a grenade in there, because if it had to be a gunfight, Kensi could easily pop the bad guy, but no way she wouldn't eat it too since she had no room to maneuver. Plus, its not just about her. Since she's the last chance they have, she had to be cautious because if she got taken out without taking out the bad guy, they might be able to launch.
Ida know, at the very least, like I said Kensi could have mentioned Miller did refuse to launch, so it wouldn't seem like Kensi just said "eff you!" and just killed them without compunction.
And to be fair, her brother was dead either way. He committed a treasonous act of the highest order, if they did capture him alive, he would most likely be up for the death penalty.
