Arrow- The outcome of the explosion is not surprising at all. The only one who dies is Ollie's baby mama, so yeah, now he's saddled with a kid. I mean, Thea is still in a coma after 5 months (interesting that all the shows jumped ahead the same amount of time), and they said Nyssa grabbed Artemis and left off screen.
Well, and Quentin thought he killed Laurel (whom he still thinks of as his daughter, parallel universes be damned) trying to save Black Canary, but she somehow survived, rescued after she was left for dead on the island by some mysterious benefactor.
In the end, Ollie gets outed as the Green Arrow, which hasn't this happened before? Like wouldn't people either think, "that's what they thought 5 years ago!" and not believe it, or he's been suggested as the Arrow so many times, that at this point there's nothing Team Arrow can do to dissuade people?
Supernatural- Ah, the old nature vs nurture argument. So Dean wants to kill Jack, Kelly and Lucifer's son, because well, he's the devil's son. The only thing that dissuades him at the end is that the kid was stabbed in the heart with an angel blade to no effect. So he reluctantly agrees with Sam's plan to bring him back to the bunker only because he doesn't know how to take him out, so better he's stuck in there with them where they're the only people he can hurt until they figure out how to stop him.
Sam, of course, thinks Jack can be good. Especially since he perceives Castiel as his real father, the one Kelly told him would protect him when he came to the world. Its funny, the way he's talking, that Dean doesn't think Sam has been "brainwashed" since he though Cas and Kelly were.
Anyways, Dean is at a low place, because they lost everyone (he prays to Chuck to bring them all back, even Crowley!) and gets no answer. Sam has a hope that Jack could possibly re-open that portal, but Dean has already accepted Mary is dead again, that why wouldn't Lucifer just immolate her once he figured out he was trapped?
But, not so much! He could kill her, but spares her, saying he needs her for some mysterious reason!
