TV commentary:

Argh, what the hell is with TV tonight!

The Flash- Seriously?! So Iris is alive! But only because HR had switched places with her using the hologram tech thingie. Thus, he's dead instead, thinking its some sort of penance for revealing Iris' location to Savitar, even though that was a freaking accident! Needless to say, Tracy is pretty upset at this development.

Anyways, the gang manages to get Jay Garrick out of the speed force, defeat Savitar (with Iris shooting him in the back), and while Julian does show back up with a cure for Caitlin, Cisco manages to turn her back good without it. So now Caitlin is no longer Killer Frost, nor is she Caitlin anymore, and thus wants to figure out who she is now.

So mostly happy ending, right? I mean, HR is dead, but Iris is alive, and she and Barry are ready to get married. Only the speed force shows up ready to wreck the city, because with Jay no longer in the Speed Force, and Savitar uncreated, the prison is empty and needs someone in it. And so Flash freaking sacrifices himself to save the city.

I mean, the show is the Flash, so obviously he'll get out of it, but its still an annoying cliffhanger.

Brooklyn 99- And this one was even worse! So, Rosa and Jake run a secret investigation on Hawkins. Only she's onto them, and manages to successfully frame them for the bank jobs. Like they try everything to prove their innocence, Rosa even considers fleeing to Argentina with Adrian, but Holt convinces her not to. They're the good guys, they didn't do it, surely they'll be vindicated!

Nope, their last lead ends up being another trap by that frakking krant, and they're found guilty! This is total BS! This show is supposed to be a light hearted comedy. But I guess its also a cop show, so obviously there are stakes. But this cliffhanger is somehow even worse than last years!

Like sure, Jake and Holt had to go into hiding, but they just needed to take the one guy down. This time, the bad guy is a cop, one who's totally effed them over at every turn. Again, obviously, they'll get out of it, but its still a real downer note to end the season on. Seeing this and Flash back to back was just depressing.

Savitar spends the whole episode running away from a paradox, because he can't exist now that Iris survived, but that already was a paradox, so why wasn't he running from that?

They can't stop Savitar from killing Iris, because he keeps remembering what they did and countering it. Then at the moment of truth when they try one last thing, he just... doesn't remember this time. Because the time you thought your fiancee was dead but then she morphed into your friend guy and you learned she was still alive but also that your friend guy was dead, that'd never stand out in your memory at all!

"You know what would help this woman who is distraught over this guy she loved dying? Someone who looks exactly like the dead guy! That won't freak her out at all!"

"I've got this glass vial of the priceless cure for your horrible condition, and to give it to you, i'm just gonna casually throw it on the ground and hope it doesn't break"

"Since doing so would prove that I'm evil, I vow to never kill you! Oh yay, my girlfriend killed you. Way to go, honey!"
