Riverdale- Heh, I'm amused the promos for this ep heavily featured Molly Ringwald as Archie's mom, and that scene doesn't actually occur in the ep until the last minute. So Archie tells Veronica what he had overhead at the Blossoms', that Clifford was responsible for sending Hiram to jail. Apparently the Blossoms had been paying the Lodges for something for decades, and I guess Clifford decided to stop having to pay by getting Hiram in trouble.
So Veronica brings it up to their lawyer, and it turns out he and her dad were aware. But they can't say anything, because then that gives him motive for killing Jason. Of course, her dad is still a piece of shit, because he basically strong arms V into being a character witness by being all, "Well, your mom isn't so innocent either, and if you don't say anything, I may not be able to help her if she runs into legal issues!"
Also, along the same lines of Ethel not knowing Ronnie was a Lodge, I'm amused she only now learned FP is Jughead's dad. Like after her dad told her her mom's not so innocent, she remembers Hermione paying FP, and realizes her parents prolly got the Serpents to devalue the land so they could buy it cheap.
I'm also amused because of all the secret meetings. So at Jughead's birthday party, FP secretly talks to Joaquin for intel, and he tells FP that he overheard the whole Blossoms having to do with Hiram going to jail and thus Hiram has motive for murder. Which I'm still not sure how the Serpents figure into all of this, so I can't tell if FP thinks this is good news or bad, or if this is important information at all- after all he does talk about how these pesky kids are doing a better investigation of things than the sheriff.
But heh, Alice spies FP and Joaquin talking from the Cooper house, and confronts FP later about it. Turn out Alice is from his side of the tracks, and a former Serpent? That makes her more interesting.
Other stuff, Archie tries to drunkenly win back Valerie at the party, but she tells him to get lost. Which would have more of an impact if we had gotten more of them as a couple. So, he ends up making out (sleeping?) with Veronica that night.
Also, Jughead tries to drive Betty away by saying he's not normal, but I guess in the end it works out, because she's all, "Well, I'm kinda a psycho too!" and showing her the cuts from digging her nails into her palms when she gets really upset.
Supernatural- So I'm confused by Ketch this ep. I mean, does he keep looking at that pic of Mary with young Dean because he's crushing on her? Or does he and the MoL not know she came back from the dead? I mean, they have to know, unless they think she just aged phenomenally. But I won't assume they do, because there have been plenty of things on TV this season where I presumed something was something a character had to obviously already know, but they didn't.
I was also weirded out when Dean look at Sam confused when he killed Moloch. Sam was all, "Colt will kill anything, remember?" I mean, wouldn't he? Like earlier, at the house, when he went to check things out and Sam said to be careful, he's all, "I think I'm good!" and showing that he's using the Colt.
Which implies he knows the Colt is prolly the best weapon to use on Moloch. So why the weird conversation after Moloch's death were Dean is surprised?!
