TV commentary:

Walking Dead- Ah, as I expected. Benjamin dies, which is the kick the Kingdom needs to finally fight. Getting to that point is a bit crazy though. So Richard purposely steals a cantaloupe from a shipment going to the Saviors, in order to spark a fight. His hope was that the Saviors would get mad, kill him, and finally get Ezekiel, Morgan, and Carol off their asses.

But that one asshole savior guy doesn't shoot Richard, he shoots Benjamin. To his credit, the Savior in charge of the drops is not pleased with dickhead's behavior, even making him give back Morgan's stick, and then making him walk home when he finds out Benjamin's dead and the second meet to make things right.

Anyways, Morgan goes nuts, since this is the second son-type he's lost. He figures out Richard was the one responsible, and confronts him. Richard admits it, saying back in the day, he stood idly by and waited too long, and it got his family killed, so he's not doing that anymore. I get his sentiment, but he loses me- he was fine with sacrificing himself, but now that Ben's dead, he thinks they should use that to pretend they've learned their lesson to the Saviors, and strike them back when they don't expect it. I mean, he was always iffy, given he was ready to get Carol killed to inspire Ezekiel. But when he starts telling Morgan his plan, there's a little too much "I" in it for my tastes. He's all, "I'll lead the army to fight the saviors!" and it ends up sounding like an ego thing to me, despite his sentiment.

So at the meet with the Saviors to get things squared away, he strangles Richard and says he's responsible. Amusingly enough, the rest of the Kingdom guys just watch all, "Hey, stop!" but don't try to pull him off- and its not like they know what Richard did, Morgan only informs them after he kills Richard! So that's kinda weird they wouldn't do anything to help their friend.

Anyways, the Saviors are appeased, and Richard's plan works in the end, because Morgan is going to do what Richard said, now that the Saviors think the Kingdom is acquiescent, they'll strike when they least expect it. Indeed, Morgan finally fesses up to Carol the truth, knowing what it will do her, what it will make her become. And he starts sharpening his staff into a spear.

Carol moves into the Kingdom, and tells Ezekiel they need to fight, and he agrees. So all the peaceniks are gearing up for war.

NCIS:LA- I knew it! Whiting survived her wounds. So needless to say, Deeks is now a little worried since he admitted the truth. But, we don't see what turns out of this development just yet.

And ha, was this ep an argument for the right to bear arms? So Callen and Anna are escorting that one dude they brought in at the beginning of the season who caused the chopper crash that injured Kensi. And at some random small town diner, Asakeem picks a fight with the hicks, trying to cause trouble. Callen and Anna talk the hicks down, with the help of the sheriff.

But, as they take him back to the car, the sheriff gets shot, and they're ambushed by a bunch of mercs. But luckily, the diner goers are all carrying and since the mercs are boxed in between them and Callen and Anna, its like fish in a barrel!
