Flash- Thank goodness they didn't drag that out. Barry only keeps mum about Iris' impending death for only half an episode before he reveals the future to everyone (except Joe). Barry desperately wants to know if he can alter this future, and Harry makes a domino analogy that I'm not sure makes total sense. When he said the future wants to happen, but removed only certain dominoes, was he trying to say that the last domino still falls even if you remove some of the dominoes, but removing the right ones can stop it?
So Cisco and Barry vibe to the future to get clues, and they learn in addition to Iris dying, as well as some foreshadowing of villains we'll be seeing in the future, like Music Meister and Gorilla Grodd, Caitlin becomes Killer Frost. So now they're double determined to change the future.
Its weird, because they sort of change the future by making it Kid Flash who captures Plunder (Barry had been holding back in trying to capture him, since that was one of the future events). So then he's all, "See, we can change the future!" But 1) they already knew they could change things, since in the vibe they saw Harry there with a rifle aimed at Savitar, which wasn't there the first time Barry saw this future. And 2) Barry has changed the present by changing the past. And the present is future to the past. Therefore he should already know they can change the future, because he has before!
Also, I get Julian was a tool of Savitar and caused a lot of people to get hurt and die, but exactly he was being controlled. So it seems a little silly they'd let that give them pause from joining the team. He's the world's foremost expert on metahumans, it seems like he would be a good ally to have! Thankfully, they do bring him in, and hey, he helps make a necklace to replace her power-suppressing cuffs. It gets recharged by the sun, which should get around the issue she'd been having with the cuffs running out of power.
