Vampire Diaries- I guess I never thought of that situation. So Bonenzo come back from France, and Bonnie is sporting a necklace full of Enzo's blood. Bonnie is fine at first, but then she wonders if it means he wants to turn her so they could be together forever. Because she has no idea how that would interact with the curse she and Elena are under. When Bonnie dies to perform the transition, will that end the curse and wake up Elena? Or will that mean now Bonnie has to be staked for Elena to wake up? Or will she wake up while Bonnie's dead, but then go back to sleep when Bonnie comes back to life? And then again, Bonnie has to be staked now.
In any case, Enzo says he gave her the necklace as a measure of protection in case he's not there to heal her. Because he's scared to death of having to survive her. Eventually, they get back in a good place, and Bonnie puts forth the idea of him taking the cure, so that way he'll be mortal and won't have to face living forever without her.
Meanwhile, Seline tries to make a deal with the gang to join forces since she has the bell and they have the tuning fork. The MF gang says no, but then Dorian distracts her while Matt searches for where she hid the bell. Seline's no fool though, and figures out what they're doing. She tells Dorian that its a good thing Matt is involved, because once the bell is fully assembled only a Maxwell can ring it anyways. So he takes her to Matt, non-compelled like, to tell him he may want to hear more details about ringing the bell from Seline.
Finally, in the main plot, Sybil makes Damon come to MF to bring her the ball he stole from Matt's dad. Turns out that's the third part of the bell, the striker. But, its the Mystic Falls pageant, which messes with Damon's head, because as Stefan puts it, its the first time he felt he could get Elena to love him. And indeed, Damon can resist Sybil's commands, and after pep talks from Caroline and disdain from Stefan, Damon is strong enough to tell Sybil off and brain her with the ball. He captures her and is set to torture her, but then she floods him with his humanity, and so the guilt sends him into catatonia.
While this is going on, Stefan is messing around, feeding the contestants his blood and getting ready to kill them in front of Caroline. He ends up turning Violet, but Caroline stakes him before he can kill anymore. I guess she will now be Caroline's protege? But yeah, when he comes to, Caroline says that she understands he's off the rails, but they can fix this, he just needs to stick to actual bad guys to give to Cade. They just need to make it a year. Stefan breaks it to her that he's not stopping after a year, he's embracing this role.
She doesn't believe that though, and gives him back the engagement ring, saying he'll come to his senses, and to return with the ring when he does. Hey, the Elena necklace snapped Damon out of things, maybe her ring will eventually do the same for him.
