TVD- I was going to say, "Are you freaking kidding me?!" but thankfully things came through in the last 30 seconds. Heh, as I've said before, the whole Elena not being able to forgive Damon for killing Tyler is bullshit. She's forgiven him for worse. I mean, they act like he was still a part of their group, but they apparently weren't that close anymore if he had been looking for Seline this whole time and he didn't know she was working as a babysitter for his ex-gf!
But yeah, apparently when Tyler died, he "willed" his mission to Matt. (Matt tries to tell his dad, "I'm not ready for this!" Dude, you were freaking sheriff for a while, you've inexplicably survived this whole time despite no powers or anything! If you can go this long without taking a permanent dirt nap, you're prolly good!) And so he got pictures of Seline and identifying her as the other siren. And he also wasn't so close to the group anymore that he didn't immediately recognize her as a babysitter for his ex-gf. Heh, I'm amused that works for both Matt and Tyler! I guess at this point Jeremy is the only male regular through the show's history she hasn't been involved with/potentially involved with. Because even Enzo seemed like a potential LI when he was first introduced.
But I digress. They were partying at the carnival in honor of Tyler (and Elena, which hey, she's not even dead!) at the end, and I was about to be so pissed that they weren't going to find out that Seline is the other siren. Thankfully though, Caroline was showing pics of the girls to Matt and he saw one with Seline, which finally got the ball rolling on that.
Alas, she and Alaric get home to see that Seline has absconded with them. More bad news Sybil manages to escape AND steal the tuning fork since everyone was at the funeral. Well, Alaric's intern was still at the armory, but he got called at the last minute by the cops since he's listed as Georgie's contact, and the police just found her burnt corpse (which ended up that way because of a secret spell Seline had the girls do). Though even if he was there, he couldn't have stopped her anyways.
And Stefan and Caroline manage to finally capture Damon and Stefan puts him in a coffin to sleep for a long while. That way, he won't do anything more to piss them all off. Too bad Sybil's next stop after escaping is to free Damon.
If anything good does happen this ep, Bonnie does seem to get Enzo to flip his humanity back on by almost burning herself alive. She sets fire to the cabin (which Enzo is magically bound to thanks to a dark relic Bonnie got from the Armory) and stays there to prove to Enzo she'll never abandon him. It takes her passing out from smoke inhalation for Enzo to snap out of it. He gets her out of the cabin, and when she wakes up, she puts out the dark relic. Now, is he free-free of Sybil? Or is he just back to where he was before?
