TV commentary:

Westworld- How expected! I mean, it was obvious the show was going to eventually reveal one of the humans was actually a host. And as people suspected, it was Bernard! Whom Ford uses to kill Teresa. Interesting, so I was thinking before that there were a lot of different things going on which were bound to blunder into each other. The Teresa corporate espionage thing, Bernard's investigation, Ford's secret stuff, Maeve's plans, the Man in Black's quest.

But interesting, since Bernard is a host, does that mean Ford knows all that stuff with the espionage and Elsie running off to check something out. I mean, Ford definitely knows the former, so I presume he knows Elsie was rooting around where she was. So maybe she's still alive. This episode seems to cement the fact that nothing goes on in the park without Ford's knowledge.

Unless he doesn't know about the Maeve stuff. Which he may not. Then again as the two techs said, someone has been messing with her already. It could be something that Ford has been encouraging this behavior, but not know exactly how things would play out.

Speaking of, Clementine gets lobotomized, so now Maeve is pissed and is planning on getting out. But getting back to Bernard killing Teresa, how does that work? Like Jackie from VM is trying to oust Ford, and was going to use Teresa to transition. I mean, how will killing Teresa make them be all, "Well, okay, we'll stick with you!" wouldn't they be all, "You're a crazy murderer!" Then again, I guess their worry is that he'll destroy his work, and the fact that he build a robot that could pass, and used it to kill someone, shows how ruthlessly committed he is. So I guess maybe they'll make some sort of deal.

But yeah, no Man in Black storyline this week, though Jimmy does go ahead and sleep with Dolores (after telling him he has a fiancee waiting for him back home!) and they find a picturesque view that Dolores drew from her dreams that actually exists. Heh, the Man in Black and Jimmy/Dolores stuff still gives me a headache, because its still freaking confusing on where these take place in the timeline.

Last Man on Earth- Isn't this supposed to be a comedy?! Some emotional scenes this week. First with Carol trying to get Gail to adopt her so her child would have a grandmother. And it seems like just silly shenanigans, and Carol is all, if Gail finds it ridiculous and meaningless, why not jut humor her and sign the adoption papers. But then Gail tells Carol she already had a kid (who died before the virus) and she's not eager to revisit that. Carol is apologetic, and once they learn where each other is coming from, Gail signs the papers.

Even more heartwrenching is Tandy trying to get Lewis to have faith. We find out Lewis lost track of his husband when the virus broke out- he was out of the country on a business trip, and then all flights were grounded. Last Lewis heard, his fiancee was trying to get a boat to make it back to Seattle. And at first, Tandy is being his usual annoying self about things, but when he stops being silly and talks for real, he has a point. It seems beyond ridiculous and just setting one up for huge disappointment for Lewis to think his husband could ever show up. But like Tandy said, his brother freaking managed to make it down from outer space to find him.

And it may seem ridiculous to leave notes that no one will probably ever see, but the fact is, people did see them! As Tandy brings up, he was totally about to kill himself in the pilot, until he found Carol, who had only shown up because of the signs Tandy left around the country. So never say never. So Lewis leaves a note. But then he tells Tandy, at least he got to know what happened to his brother. But he didn't! His brother ran off to die at home! So Tandy drives them to Tuscon to find Mike for sure. But he can't bring himself to check his room. And so he also leaves Mike a note.

Heh, I guess there was some comedy this episode. Sort of. Melissa's weird Red/Andy Shawshank Redemption fantasy was hilariously odd. But then you remember, she's still totally messed up from killing Jon Hamm in the season premiere.
