TVD- Ha, did they really drag that out? They act like Tyler might still be alive, but nope! He dead! Ha, no offense, but Matt being all, "If you killed Tyler, Elena will never forgive you!" First off, she's be like, "Who?" (in all seriousness, in their group of friends, they were the farthest apart) And secondly, Damon's done worse, and not even under the influence of a siren! Its like, regardless of the logistics of Sybil's control of Damon and how much is her control and how much is his own choices, the fact is eventually you can just excuse it as her influence if you wanted. As tragic as it is, its not as "unforgivable" as they say.
But heh, that is one hell of a coincidence, Damon's mission leading him to Matt's dad. Who apparently was clueless about the mystic-ness of MF. Heh, when Matt was explaining things to him and Matt's dad was trying to apologize for abandoning his family, I was wanting Matty to be all, "You know who else is a vampire? Your daughter, who is dead!" I mean, what does he think happened to Vicki? I don't care why he thought he had to leave, like he couldn't even be bothered to show up to his freaking daughter's funeral?!
Lots of interesting twists though. Sybil has a sister, and they did some trickery to make one think it was Georgie. But nope, its freaking Seline! (So would she have actually died when she got her throat cut, or was she just playing along?) Like Georgie breaks into Alaric's to steal a book, and Seline catches her. The way things play out, you think Georgie did something to her, then ran to the Armory to break Sybil out. And she did, but because Seline compelled her to.
Only, as we find out from Sybil's backstory, she and Seline have a similar story to the Salvatores. Only, Sybil is the Damon- the one who was corrupted by the other. Just like Stefan turned Damon so he wouldn't be alone, Seline manipulated Sybil and tricked her into becoming a cannibal. And then when the horror of what she had done drove Sybil to suicide, a man named Arcadius (or Cade, for short) appeared to the sisters and turned them into the sirens. In exchange for being eternally young and beautiful, they harvest souls for him. Seline seems to have taken to it, but despite what we've seen of Sybil so far, she actually wasn't too keen on the job.
She does have to some sort of secret plan going on. But yeah, so when Georgie shows up to break Sybil out, Sybil refuses, telling her to tell her sister to eff off. Too bad for Georgie, as Seline eats her. And when she dies, her ghost flies up in the air, much like Katherine and the other folks when the Other Side was collapsing. So are they saying Katherine had gone to hell?
Actually, most frustrating, is when Sybil went into Stefan's mind to show him her secret history, its there where Stefan finds out Seline is the sister. Only she makes him forget! So argh, no one knows Seline is secretly evil. Indeed, Alaric thinks its Georgie, though once they find her body (if there's anything left after Seline is done), he'll figure she isn't.
But yeah, its bad, because Seline may have designs on the twins, and the gang has no idea how much danger the girls could be in!
