TV commentary:
Gotham- Well, that was disturbing. Surprisingly, I'm not talking about the Ivy thing, which is more creepy than anything. Again, she's still a 15 year old in a more womanly body. The guy she meets doesn't put any moves on her. But its clear he's lusting after her, and her, still being a kid, totally misses it.
What I found disturbing was the whole Penguin whipping Gotham up into a frenzy against the "monsters". I mean, Fish's minions aren't good people, they've murdered. Still, if they met their end at some cop bullets, you wouldn't give it a second thought. The fact that they were mobbed by ordinary citizens, beaten to death, and then tossed in a fire while people cheered was pretty messed up.
But ha, it didn't take that long for Jim to put the moves on Valerie (which, to be fair, Jamie Chung is friggin hot, so why wouldn't he). And of course that's the time Lee chooses to come back to Gotham!
Weird, I totally missed that the Court of Owls lady was L&O ME until I saw her name in the credits. But she makes a deal with Bruce, he stops looking into them, and they won't kill him and his loved ones. Of course, as Alfred says, can he really trust them. But I guess Bruce and Alfred have long haired Bruce to deal with for now.
