The Fosters- Well, crap. Mariana resolves to tell Nick the truth, how she just said she loved him only to stop him from killing himself. Only when she does finally visit him, he makes it clear that its her love that got him through his darkness. So she's too scared for him to make him think otherwise. Its like I get she doesn't want the guy to kill himself, but continuing to make him think he has a chance with her is prolly just going to make things worse. Its not her job to be some guy's reason for living!
And wow, Liam's mom is a frakking krant!! Callie bumps into her while taking pictures for her project. She asks Callie and AJ in to talk to her. Lest you think its to apologize, no, she says she's sorry... for ever letting Callie into their home and ruining their lives! Eff you, your son is a rapist!
But her project does lead her to find out about other former foster families. One such family, she was happy, but then she and Jude got sent away, no explanation. She later learns that it was because of the age of her foster parents, and the fact that the other foster brother with them was special needs, that the social workers wouldn't let them have all three. And so they gave up Callie and Jude since they had each other.
Callie and AJ learn this foster brother was later railroaded into a murder conviction, since he was mentally ill, and a minority, and a foster kid. The foster mom maintains his innocence, and Callie believes her, so of course she's going to go to the one law school dude she just met to try and fix things.
Oh, and hey, the Twins' dad gets off the sex offender registry! Heh, wow, I guess it was kinda presumptuous of me to think when they had Mike call the ADA that he was going to do something to eff things up since he thinks Gabe is a bad influence on Ana. I mean, I dunno why I thought that, after all, Gabe staying on it might cause Lena to lose her job, and surely Mike wouldn't screw over Lena for Ana. And he didn't, he was just calling to put in a good word.
But whoops, looks like Courtney's ex is suing for full custody of the kid!
