Preacher- Heh, so frustrating! I get Cassidy is a weird fellow who's already hard to follow because of his accent, but then he has a tendency to ramble on. But it was still frustrating to see him try and warn Jesse about the two angel dudes (which I could've sworn they told him that's what they were, so it was weird for him to still think they were government clones) because its like Jesse is so focused on his plan to use his voice to get people believing again, so he's already not really paying attention to Cassidy's blathering. And Cass for his part is taking his own sweet time with the story, its like stop burying the lead and get to the point.
But interesting, Tulip learns Cassidy is a vampire after accidentally defenestrating him because she thought he was a different dude she meant to beat up. She's all freaking out because he has a glass shard through his neck, but then when she turns away, he makes his way to the blood bank to feed himself. Also, I don't know why, but a cathouse having a free "round" on the house is incredibly weird to me. They're having to eff those dudes for nothing!
Anyways, given how interested tall angel guy seemed in the burger commercial, and expressing disappointment when the motel manager tells them not only do they not have room service, but there's no burger joints with 60 miles, I was quite sad for him. I kinda hope he gets to enjoy the joys of a juicy burger at some point.
In the end, Jesse makes a bet with Odin Quincannon- if he can't make a believe out of Odin, he'll finally sell him his father's land. This was of course a ruse to get him to the church so he could use his voice on him to show other people even a grubby rich dude like Odin can repent. Though I'm interested to see how this all turns out, because "Serve God" is a pretty vague command. I kinda wonder how he'll act on that impulse.
