The 100- I knew it!! Last ep, I thought it was weird that ALIE was still around when the rest of the gang got to Luna. Maybe it was her last fading embers as the last of the chipped people died. But turns out Jasper took the chip because he had finally been broken by all the pain.
And so their big plan to have Roan pretend to capture Clarke, while the Blakes, Miller and his bf sneak in through the tunnels while ALIE and the rest of Polis is distracted to capture Ontari and unchip her to put the flame in her to find the kill code totally fails, because ALIE heard the whole thing. So Clarke is captured for real, and Abby tortures her trying to get find the activation key for the Flame. When that doesn't work, Abby freaking hangs herself.
Luckily, the rest of the gang shows up (having been saved by Murphy/Pike/Indra) and free Clarke, cut down Abby before she dies, and subdue the throne room. But not before Ontari lets Jaha bash her brains in to make her brain dead so they can't use her. So what the fuck was the point of all this?! They build her up as the new Commander, she kinda fades into the background because of the ALIE stuff, and then she just commits suicide? Not only does it make Lexa and Aden and the rest of the Nightbloods' deaths pointless, why hire a hot Aussie like her and not utilize her?
So now they're trapped at the top of the Tower, with a bunch of ALIE's followers coming.
Other stuff in Polis, O wants to kill Pike then and there for killing Lincoln, but Indra tells her to stay her hand for now. Indra also shows sentimentality for Kane as well, even though he's chipped. She ends up getting cut off from the rest of the gang because Kane still comes after them even though they dropped a bomb to close the way. So even though he's the enemy right now, she still feels compelled to push him out of the way.
Back at Arkadia. Jasper ends up stabbing Monty when he finds the parts Raven needs for their plans to unchip Ontari and get some of ALIE's source code. Its not lethal (though I'm worried they're going to go for a twist where after all this he collapses, dying) and he manages to make it to Raven and lock the door. Too bad Harper is still outside of the room, unaware of Jasper's betrayal. So he knocks her out and then threatens to kill Harper if Monty and Raven don't open the door.
TVD- Dang, well that's disappointing. Even though I'm still a Delena fan, with Nina Dobrev gone, I thought Bamon would be pretty cool. But I'm thinking with next season most likely being the last and I believe Nina willing to show up for that, they just put the kibosh on that, making Damon and Bonnie just "best friends". Whatever.
Anyways, Bonnie doesn't want to hunt her friends, giving Stefan and Caroline fair warning when she got close. Too bad there's a traffic jam! So Stefan decides to go the crazy route and turn his car around and play chicken with Bonnie, hoping the sudden confrontation would cause her to back down. But the compulsion won't let her. Lucky for her, Matt breaks free of his bonds, and grabs the wheel at the last moment.
They end up crashing in the woods, where the compulsion forces Bonnie to abandon Matt and warn him being a mere human he should just leave this life for good (heh, in his defense, he tries, but they keep dragging him back in). So he spends most of the ep trapped in the car, eventually getting a vision of Penny telling him not to die. And so he wakes up to a paramedic reviving him. And so he does finally decide to just give up and leave the vamp drama behind him.
But yeah, so the plan to break into the Armory is to have the twins siphon the barrier around the Armory so the Salvatores can go in, while Enzo has Bonnie focus on him to distract her. She catches up with him at his secret cabin, and despite her best effort to try and stop herself, she's about to stake him. Luckily, Damon destroys the last of those dudes in time, and she's freed and the marks on the rest of them are gone.
So, everything seems all happy. Everyone seems to have forgiven each other, Alaric steps aside saying Caroline should be with Stefan, but he and the girls will always be her family. And so Damon and Bonnie and Enzo talk on the phone so they can thank him. But then he hears Elena's voice and is drawn into the vault. And some force seems to take him over.
Bonnie and Enzo show up at the Armory, where Stefan and Caroline are waiting for Damon to come out. Only Enzo ends up sneaking off and going in alone to save his, and his gf's best friend without risking anyone else. Which only gets him taken over as well.
So there's another flash forward, where Stefan and Bonnie become all despondent that Damon and Enzo seemed to be trapped in the vault. Only when they finally get in months later, Damon and Enzo had been long gone. And so the gang discovers that Damon and Enzo have turned super evil and have been going on a murder spree across the country.
