OUAT- A lot of that was expected. In the Enchanted past, Baelfire gets bitten by a snake, and so Milah and Rumpel go to Chief Tyrol for a cure. Which he'll give them for 100 gold. That's obviously well above their means. So Milah wants Rumpel to sneak into Tyrol's place and murder him and steal the cure. After Rumpel leaves to do that, she meets Hook. Anyways, Rumpel can't bring himself to kill Tyrol, so he instead makes a deal, the cure for Rumpel's next born. Rumpel is like sure, thinking he got the better of Tyrol, telling Milah, all we need to do is not have another kid! Needless to say, Milah is not pleased.
When Rumpel becomes the Dark One, he goes to kill Tyrol around the same time he was mentoring Cora and it seemed she might be preggers with his kid, thinking that would get around that deal. Obviously, this is going to lead to complications.
In the present, Hook refuses to chisel names in the stone. So Hades strings Hook up over the river of lost souls, which if you touch it, you're lost. So you knew someone was going into it.
Anyways, Hook gets Milah's help to let him and Emma get into Hades' domain. Ha, Rumpel tells his ex-wife Emma's history, and she's all, "So, you were both with my son and former lover?!" HA!
They find an entrance to Hades' place, through a portal in the Underbrook's version of Emma's house. By holding her hands, Gold and Emma are able to pass through Hades ward, taking a boat to Hade's stronghold. They plan to also use the boat to escape the Underworld. Anyways, Emma goes to rescue Hook, leaving Gold and Milah to guard the boat.
Milah hopes to move on to see Neil again, Emma having told her that Neil got to Heaven. She wanted to apologize for being a crappy mother. Anyways, Hades shows up, freezes her and makes Gold a deal, strand the rest of the gang in the Underworld, since they save people from going down to the Underworld, and he'll let Rumpel go back up, since he sent many souls down there as the Dark One. Rumpel is all, but Milah will notice if the boat is destroyed, so Hades tells him he's sure he'll think of something. So of course, Rumpel sends her pitching into the River after destroying the boat.
He tells Emma and Hook when they show up that Hades attacked and destroyed the boat, pushing Mila into the river. The gang ends up reuniting, and Regina tries to take Emma's heart out so she can split it like the Charmings did so he can leave the Underworld. But, she's blocked by some sort of ward. They find out Hades filled the tombstones out for Hook since he wouldn't do it- Regina, Snow, and Emma. So even if they find a way out of the Underworld, the ladies are stuck there, and so is Hook since Emma's plan to share her heart won't work.
Anyways, the big twist we find out is when Gold sneaks off to complete his deal with Hades and end up back on the surface, turns out Hades finds out about Gold's contract with Tyrol. Which is not voided just because Tyrol died. Indeed, Hades gets Tyrol to sign over Gold's promised second kid to him, and uses it to get Gold under his thumb. Apparently, earlier in the ep, Gold uses a crystal ball to "see his child", wanting to see if Neil was truly fine. Only, he got an image of Belle instead. Because she's preggers with his kid. Hades saw him do that, and figured it out, and found Tyrol. So Gold is now Hades reluctant double agent.
Other stuff, Regina spots Cruella and has a talk. Cruella tells her how the tombstones in the graveyard work. If its upright, they're in Underbrook. If its tipped over, they moved on to a better place. If its in granite, then the person has gone to the other place. She talked to Cruella about this wanting to know about Daniel. So she and Snow go to the cemetery, and Regina is relieved to see that Daniel's stone is tipped over, meaning he's moved on to a better place. Satisfied he's fine, she has control back over her magic.
TWD- Seriously? So Abraham and Eugene go out on a run, where Eugene finds a place to make bullets. Which, if this was following the comics, means Abraham was going to get an arrow through the eye. Nope! Coincidentally, Denise wanted to go check out an apothecary for medicine, and ropes Daryl and Rosita into coming along to protect her. And its like, what the shit, their arguments against her going were things like she's too soft, instead of, hey, you're our only G-D doctor now, you shouldn't be going outside risking your freaking life. So they reluctantly take this run with her.
On the way back from the Apothecary, she's giving Daryl and Rosita a speech about how she needed to do this since she was too scared to go with Tara on the last mission, to prove to herself she could be brave. And then boom, she gets the arrow in the eye that should have been Abraham's. Which, its kinda effed up that to pull of a surprise twist for the comic readers, they set up his death, but then zag and kill one of the lesbian characters instead. Did they really kill off one of the queer characters instead one of the many straight white dudes? But yeah, Dwight shows up with a group of about a dozen armed men and Daryl's crossbow. And they had somehow managed to capture Eugene offscreen after Abraham left him alone, and run into Daryl, Rosita, and Denise. Since there's more of them, and more heavily armed, Daryl and Rosita are caught.
Anyways, heh, they actually do have Eugene bite Dwight in the crotch like in the comics, which is enough of a distraction for Abraham to get the jump on the Saviors. Which is enough of a distraction for Rosita and Daryl to get their weapons back, and the gang kills a bunch of Saviors and chase Dwight and some others off.
And like what the shit, they have Daryl and Carol bury Denise, and Tara is not around for that?! Did they say where she was to explain why the frick she wouldn't be at her girlfriend's funeral?!
Oh, and Carol is overcome with guilt, and knowing a war is coming where she'd have to kill a bunch of people to protect the Alexandrians, she chooses to run away.
