TV commentary:

PLL- Some new things learned tonight. Let's start off with Aria. Liam figures out she was ghostwriting Ezra's new novel. Then Ezra shows back up, who apparently had just run off to stew. He was mad that they accused him, but he was also mad at himself for being such a lying liar back in the day that they (well, all he cares about is Aria) think its in the realm of possibility that he'd do that. But, it looks like he finished his book, and wants Aria to proof it. But I guess that's bad, because Aria turned in chapters she wrote already, and this won't match up with those?

Hanna, meanwhile, feels guilty for running off with her bf, blaming herself for what happened to Emily. And what happens to Emily? The fertility clinic has an impossible freezer failure ("there's backups upon backups", says the nurse who talks to Emily) and Emily's eggs were lost, along with some other hapless customers. Emily is pretty upset that other people lost their eggs because of new-A targeting her.

The Liars come clean to Ali about everything they know, Sara's secret layer, new-A and the threats. They explain A didn't kill Charlotte, but for some reason thinks they know who. They also tell her A said Charlotte was killed by a golf club (I don't think they mention they think its Aria dad's club). However, Tanner visited Ali earlier and said the weapon was hollow and square at the end, which she shares with the Liars, who now know A is fucking with them.

Its Spencer who has the most interesting stuff this ep. Caleb tells Spencer about the files he found- a medical report for Veronica indicating she's sick. Which apparently Spencer had no idea about. She knew her mom was sick... before. She didn't realize her mom is still sick. Spence confronts Mona- she knows Mona had Yvonne "forget" her phone to see if Spencer could be trusted, knowing Spencer would grab it. But Spencer also knows Mona didn't turn her in. It turns out, Mona knew that her people were going to leak the report, and didn't think it was right, so used the ruse to alert Spencer to what they were going to do.

But argh, Spencer is too chicken to tell her mom about it! I mean, I know she's freaking out about her mom's health, but she needs to tell her mom so they can get ahead of it! Anyways, Veronica and her campaign manager need to get some travel information from Melissa to approve the expenses. Eventually, they get Spencer to check Melissa's baggage ticket, which should be sufficient for the records. Spencer does, but finds out on of the arms of the handles of Melissa's bag is missing. And what do you know, the handle is hollow, with a rectangular end. So, did Melissa kill Charlotte?
