Flash- Wait, are they saying that's why Patty hadn't figured it out? She didn't realize Barry was working with the STAR labs folks? Like she knew Joe was working with the STAR labs folks, but she also knew Barry knew folks like Caitlin and Jay- after all they went on a double date! Like all his friends work at STAR labs/with the Flash, and she thought somehow he wasn't involved?!
I mean, to her credit, once she realized Barry did work with STAR labs, it immediately clicked into place. She begs Barry to admit it, but he doesn't want to- he doesn't want to be the reason she gives up her dream and stay, doesn't want her to be another loved one Zoom could use against him. And ha, in the end she calls him all, "Oh no, there's this bad guy on my train!" and he comes running, proving her theory. So Barry finally admits the truth, and they have their goodbyes. Which I'm amused everyone else on the train was "Woah, what's the Flash doing here!?" at first, but then he starts talking to Patty. Which, I respect they let Patty and the Flash have their private conversation, but at the same time, I find it hilarious that they just go back to their business as if a real life superhero hadn't just ran onto their train.
And what the hell? So the implication that this version of Thawne was an earlier incarnation, before he went back to the past and killed Barry's mom and took over Dr. Wells' life. It was confusing, because they were keeping him prisoner, but they were also acting like they had to be careful with the timeline and not let him know too much, otherwise it could change the timeline. But then it comes as a surprise to them when Cisco starts disappearing from the timeline!
So they're saying Thawne knew where to go into the past, why he took over Wells' life because of the events that transpired this ep? Which, doesn't that mean he knows he's going to lose?! So if the s1 Thawne knew all this, it seems like he would've done things differently. Like done something more about Cisco, what with Cisco bragging about how he helped defeat him and how Thawne/Wells gave him the powers that he used to stop him. Or maybe its not over and something will somehow change.
And yikes, I was a little worried Wally just jinxed things all, "I'll visit my mom when the hospital bills stop coming!" Like you know what will end the bills? If your mom dies! I mean, I guess she's basically on her last legs, and Wally hasn't technically missed his chance. But, he better get cracking!
But the biggest bombshell in this ep (at least in my opinion) was the identity of Jay's Earth 1 self. Apparently Earth-1 Jay was given up for adoption, and taken in by... the Zolomons! So he's Hunter Zolomon, i.e. one of the other Reverse Flashes!
