The 100- Around half way through 2nd season, so I may actually be caught up by the time the next new ep comes. Some random musings. Its kinda weird they had Thelonious sacrifice himself in the first season finale, only for him to make it back to Earth and immediately start making poor decisions. Well, technically not poor, because he's doing what he thinks is best for his people. Of course, he and Kane have been wrong before. After all, isn't that what compelled him to stay behind in the Ark to get everyone back down to Earth? Its like, Abby has proven herself, and her trust in her daughter is what saved them, so why not stick with what works?
Oh, and I never mentioned how sad it was about Wells in the first season- he finally reconciled with Clarke, only to get killed by Charlotte. That kinda sucks.
Heh, its weird that early in the first season it seemed like Octavia and Jasper could be a thing, only for Lincoln to show up. And its like, poor Jasper, how could he compete? Lincoln is this bad-ass adonis who seemed to fall in love with Octavia at first sight (could you blame him?! Girl is freaking HOTT!) and be totally devoted to her. Though it did seem kinda quick for them to share the deep love they seem to. But heh, having seen the third season, looks like things are rocky. Heh, I saw something going around in tumblr about an imaginary convo Bellamy had with the guard to give Linc a guard jacket as a sign of their respect and appreciation of him, but really to sour her sister on him since she despises the guard. After all, for most of her life, they were a constant source of fear, with the random inspections and her mom having to whore herself out to protect her.
Anyways, I'm up to the part where Clarke meets Lexa and brokers the deal saying she can fix the Reapers. Which, she's all nonchalant about it, like, "Yeah, we can keep them alive until the red works itself out of their system!" Which, that's the easy part. She never goes over how they capture a roided up cannibal and hold it down long enough to nurse them through withdrawal symptoms. Of course, Lexa also demands Finn's death for the village massacre.
Which, I get Finn was worried about Clarke and the others, distraught that they could be dead, but its like, if a freaking psycho like John Murphy says you're going too far, you should prolly check yourself.
