Last Man on Earth- Are you freaking kidding me? Like when the promos showed the grave, I figured, okay, Phil's prolly okay then, because they're trying to be all tricky by making it seem like someone dies. And it turned out they were just digging up Will Ferrel's characters grave because Gail needed a cadaver to practice on.
But then, the surgery fails and Phil dies! Well, I guess that's more realistic- Gail's not a doctor. Just because she practiced a bunch doesn't mean she'd succeed in major freaking surgery. But we not only end with that, but with Phil's brother taking the re-entry unit back down. Even though things don't look so good, surely he'll make it down just fine, otherwise why introduce him as a character? How long will it take for him to find his brother?
The Librarians- Argh! Heh, I like how it ended up not being a time loop, but a video game. And I love how Ezekiel stepped up and was so protective of his friends, taking on everything because he couldn't keep seeing them dying. And he grew up, matured. Then ended up sacrificing himself to save the others.
But when they brought him back, he forgot all that. I mean, he gained their respect, but he doesn't know why. He doesn't even remember hearing Baird's story over and over again, where she looked at him with such respect of his bravery, and letting her tell it over each time because he liked being looked at like that by her. Like he gave that speech the last go around where they always saw him as the trouble making little brother and he needed them to believe him, that he had changed. And he proved it! But then he doesn't remember any of it!
And apparently its all for naught, because Prospero did something, and Jenkins tries to stop it, but then he doesn't even remember in the end. What's with two different instances of memory loss in the same ep?
