Teen Wolf- So, we finally find out what the deal with Hayden is. So, they finally confirmed she is indeed Deputy Clark's sister. And apparently Hayden needs money to pay for expensive pills due to a kidney transplant. Which something is going on there- we get confirmation she is indeed supernatural, likely one of the chimeras. So like does she think the kidney issues that require her to take special pills are normal, but they're really an aspect of her chimera-ness? Or because she's a chimera, she isn't as resilient as the other supernaturals and thus still has kidney issues? (Though she did heal from Tracy's scratch from a few eps ago just fine)

Hmm, it took me a couple of viewings to understand why Liam decided to check if she was a chimera. Like, he was just talking to her about the money he owed her, and then all of a sudden, he's all "close your eyes!" and checks her out. But I realize it was because she was complaining about her boss screwing her over with money and even "bragging out loud about it". Because her boss wasn't, Liam had to turn out wolf hearing to hear it.

But we also find out what Liam did that was so unforgivable in 6th grade. During one of his IED outbreaks, he was getting into it with some other guy, and she accidentally got in the way, and he broke her nose (and she broke his). So her yearbook photo was ruined. Oh noes! Seriously?! That was lame. First of all, it was 6th grade. Like if it was like her senior photo, her anger might be understandable. But even still, that's why she hates him forever. I would've it rather have been him like cheating on her or pretending to like her or something. I mean, on the one hand, breaking her nose is technically a bigger deal, but her reaction is kinda weird.

But ha, I still love how Liam is like the doting puppy- like when he hears about Scott's asthma attack, he runs all worriedly. Its pretty sweet what a loyal son he is.

Anyways, yeah, the gang reads (or tries to read the book) and weird stuff starts happening to them. Like Scott tries to drop the class, and to her credit, the teacher actually doesn't want Scott to drop. But then he has a really bad asthma attack. I wonder if its going to be because Theo is sowing discord amongst the pack and that's weakening Scott?

Lydia remembers the Dread Doctors before her operation after Tracy's attack, but she eventually figures out that it wasn't the Dread Doctors pretending to be her surgeons and doing something nefarious, she was having a memory, most likely of Hayden. Because when she goes into her memories and turns up one of the machines, it whispers "Hayden". So even if Liam didn't figure it out, this would confirm it too.

Kira is actually having trouble reading the book. Mason talks to her about it, and thinks it part of her kitsune-ness. He gives this whole speech about how the whole moshi-moshi thing in Japan was a test to see if someone was a Kitsune, because they apparently have trouble with "word tricks". And since the book is a big mystical word trick, she can't read it.

There are also random power fluctuations throughout the ep, with Kira insisting it isn't her. But Scott's not so sure. Particularly when Theo shows up with a tape recorder, having tape recorded one of Kira's japanese speaking sessions while she was asleep after everyone was zonked out from trying to read the book. He claims he put it into a translator website and she's say she's the "messenger of death" or something ominous.

So, yeah, he makes Scott doubt Kira. When Malia asks Theo why he didn't tell anyone about her vision of the Desert Wolf the night before (she totally leaves that out when she tells the gang of her freak out), she thinks its because he wants something. And he does, to get into the pack, and he wants her support.

Later, when Stiles' vision takes him to the roof, where he sees his crazy mom claiming he's a monster who tried to attack her when he was younger and she was still alive, he gets attacked by another chimera. One, who's been chewing through electric cables and prolly the cause of the brown outs they think are caused by Kira. Theo saves him, and kills the guy- then he tells Stiles promise not to say anything, because he kept quiet about Stiles killing Donovan. Which is a totally different sitch. Yes, in both cases, they were fighting for their lives. But here, Theo intentionally went for a kill move to end the fight, with Stiles it was an accident.
