Ah, I only just not noticed last.fm fixed their app to work with the latest version of itunes, so I can scrobble again (and lj is able to pick it up again!)

TV commentary:

Suits- So I guess for this show, the plot is almost always, they have a case, they come up with a really brilliant strategy... if only a) they didn't miss this one little detail or b) one of these a-holes ended up getting hurt by something one of these other a-holes said and does something to totally eff things up? So Donna's with Louis now. They kinda do a fake out in the beginning because Donna says she just has to give Harvey her two week notice, so he's all, "Nevermind!" thinking Harvey will easily be able to convince her to stay by then, so he doesn't want to be hurt.

But, since Harvey is being a dick about the whole thing, he tells her to just leave now (which leaves him secretary-less and screws up a case). Louis is paranoid though, so when Harvey gives Louis the can opener to give to Rachel, and when he gets ready to put it in her drawer, he sees a list of "replacement secretaries for Louis". So of course he thinks this all one big joke and she's trying to find a new secretary for him so she can go back to Harvey. As per usual he starts acting all passive aggressively, which confusingly Donna tells Harvey he caused, as if he knew Louis would open the drawer and see that. I thought it was just dumb luck, but she made it sound like he somehow knew the list was there and that giving him the can opener would set that up, which I'm skeptical about. I mean, they all know each other, but I can't believe Harvey would know that would happen.

But Donna patches things up, telling Louis he needs to communicate better. Hilariously, he's all "I did these (passive aggressive things), how do I get more direct than that?!"

Also, Rachel missing a test to help out Harvey is kinda insane. I get wanting to help a friend, but law school is serious business!

Graceland- Okay, I'll admit it, they fooled me! I thought Mike actually be dead. They had a funeral in the beginning, but it was for one of crooked cop guy's cronies. Mike survived, and not only that, he knows Paige betrayed him. But he's actually cool with it. Too bad Paige has not forgiven herself. Also, only Mike and Briggs know she did that, so the rest of the housemates are unaware. I wonder how they'd feel about it if they found out?

Also, the Feebs know all about Briggs accidentally killing Oberyn Martel. Some FBI big wig is all, I heard the tape, and it was a case of mistaken identity, a total accident. But, the cover up was a crime. So, he basically strong arms Briggs into going UC with a crazy Armenian mob guy. His family is a major arms dealer, so stopping him would be a huge win. Of course, things go to shit almost immediately, particularly since Briggs doesn't have the backup he was promised. An innocent (well, prolly not so innocent if he knows an Armenian mob guy) gets killed for his kidneys, and some random highway patrol cop gets hurt, but his new boss kinda has him over a barrel now. Briggs makes the case, boss guy's star will be on the rise. And if something bad happens, it can be all folded up on Briggs.

Johnny is still under the thumb of the cartels, even helping Sid get away in the end. I guess he's desperate to find some way to catch Carlito legitimately and rescue Lucia so he can be free, but given all the shady stuff they've all done, I'm surprised he doesn't come up with a plan to just smoke the guy like Lucia wants him to. (She's definitely not having a fun time being her brother's prisoner).
