Supernatural- This ep was full of ill conceived plans. So, of course after Dean tells Sam off and to drop the whole trying to free him of the mark thing, Sam gets the e-mail with the translation and goes back on his word and goes back ahead. Rowena wants Sam to kill Crowley first before she'll do the spell.
Which, he's the king of freaking hell! Did they think a hunter and a witch could just cook up something that would kill him so easy. Of course it doesn't work, and Crowley's back to being full evil.
Dean charges straight at the Steins and they seemingly capture him. You'd think given their knowledge of magic, they'd be a little more respectful, but nope, they act all cocky and act like its no thing. Dean warned them the mark makes him an unstoppable killing machine. But, they didn't heed it, and yep, he wiped them all out. Even the innocent young one who wanted nothing to do with his family. But Dean's bloodthirsty while under the mark's influence, and can't trust the kid won't turn evil later, and shoots him in the head.
Cas lectures him about it, and I'm glad someone finally brought it up. Dean is all, "I'll fight it until the end!" Only, when he inevitably loses, even if its centuries from now, he becomes a nigh-unstoppable killing machine. Sam and the others might be long dead, but Cas, being an angel, would live that long. Its something they'll have to deal with eventually, they can't just "drop it". Still, Dean's powerful now, and he basically whips Cas' ass.
