Castle- Really, that's what happened? Castle missed his wedding because an old school chum of his had joined a terrorist group and changed his mind, and since his handler got killed, the only person who he'd talk to is someone he trusts, and is also too big to be killed. So, he chose his old debate team buddy Richard. And then after it was all done, the CIA somehow used fancy technology to not only erase the memory of that adventure from Castle's head, but the fact that he even knew that guy?!
Powers- You boneheads! Christian thought he was being all slick, trying to capture Johnny and get his powers back. So, he goes along with Johnny's plan to sneak into the Shaft and kill Wolfe. But he tells Pilgrim, Triphammer, and the Captain that its all a ruse to capture Johnny. But he also tells Johnny that he told them that so he could get trick them because he needs their help to get to Wolfe. Then he tells them he told Johnny that in order to make the ruse look good.
Needless to Walker is acting so shifty that neither side trusts him- Johnny secretly has an insurance policy involving breaking out the Simons under their noses to run interference. Meanwhile, the Powers division put a fake Wolfe in the cell trap without telling Christian. So, sure enough, after he captures Johnny, he does try to grab his powers back from Wolfe, and is shocked to find Wolfe's not there. Turns out Pilgrim wanted to protect Walker from himself.
So, all good, right? Nope, since the Simons got out, they heard about "level 13". And so they go there, and find Wolfe. And since they thought Johnny was there to break him out, they free him. And Wolfe promptly drains Simons to death since he was one of the sway users. So Wolfe strolls on out of there, surprisingly not killing any one else.
